I haven't gotten full achievements on any game either, so you're not alone.

I know I'm never going to be the best gamer there is, but I just go out there and try my best and enjoy my games, that's what matters.

UUGHH!!!...why do people care so much anyway? We never had Achievements back in th day...they are not big a deal. I thought you were gonna say you haventfinished X number games because you were slacking off or something. Then Id say you're a bad gamer.

I dont even bother with Achievements. Only ones I have done are the one that automaticly unlock when I beat story/campaign mode...which is really all that matters cause thats the end of the game.

is it even possible to be a bad gamer? I mean if you really think about it? I mean except for when you are talking about like, competitive play or really good players or something.

Ummm, yeah if you die alot in various genres and you tend not too be very good at any games. Id say that qualifies as being a bad gamer.

the fundamental question that you need to ask yourself is: "Am I having fun?"

it doesnt matter if you're a bad gamer or not.

Im not even close to having 100% in a game and I dont view myself as a bad gamer. As the above poster said, the only thing that matters is that you are having fun.

The only game of mine I have 100% on is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix (200/200) but that's easy. I do want to get 100% on GTA IV, Batman, and Gears 2.

Are You A Bad Gamer, No.

Of course not! Achievements don't necessarily have anything to do with skill. Although some achievements like Mile High Club for instance, do require a great amount of skill. But after you've completed it once on Veteran, then you can do it all over again, 'cause it's so easy. :P I only have 2 achievements left for COD4... The one where you must get all the intelligence pieces, and the one where you must shoot all the TVs.

The only games where I have 1000/1000 are COD2 and NHL 07 lol.

Just because you don't have every achievement for a game, doesn't make you a bad gamer.
Some people just get bored and don't want to complete it all.. In some cases half of the achievements are damn near impossible.

I've only got Every achievement for 2 games and one of them doesn't count. Fable 2, 1350/1350. Resident Evil 5, 1000/1000.
Resident Evil doesn't really count because of the Versus achievements, but I refuse to do them because it's boring.

Some developers put crazy achievements to try and keep you playing. Most of the time those games aren't worth playing for that long. So you aren't a bad gamer, some achievements are just over the top. Doesn't matter anyway achievements mean nothing, play for fun. I've gotten 1000/1000 on 5 games, but I played the crap out of them.

Who cares about GS it just shows how nerd you are... I myself like to play games until they get boring, without thinking about any achievements.

I dont even care about achievments. Theyre just the carrot tied to the end of a stick to keep you chugging along at a game that has generally already worn out its welcome.

Gaming is a hobby, and the function of a hobby is to enjoy yourself. The only way you're being a bad gamer is if you're somehow not having any fun while gaming.

I have 1000/1000 on several games. and I am only what I would call "decent" at games... Call of Duty, I am pretty good, but most other games, especially gears and halo... I am trash... And I have 1000 in all of them (apart from gears)...

There are many games that have achievements that require a significant amount of time and effort to get all the of the achievements, so as long as you haven't put many hours into playing 2006 sports games, there is a good chance that you are not a horrible gamer.

Couldn't agree more. I mean i even haven't got one game with all the achievements and it doesnt matter to me. I'm just enjoying the game. There are to many people out there that take achievements way to seriously and think they are good cause they got everyone.

That's not being a bad gamer at all. Everyone that plays games are considered "Gamers" and virtually everyone plays differently than others. Not getting all achievements in a game isn't being a bad gamer whatsoever, and the amount of games in your collection doesn't matter at all.

You're not a bad gamer based on your gamerscore. I have no idea why gamerscore is cared for, but I care for mine. And the only game that I have 1000 points is Fallout 3. I have no shame in that.

Gamerscore does not determinate how good of a gamer you are. I, for one, only determinate if a gamer is good or not depending on the behavior during online play. Team killer, elitist, etc, etc these are bad gamers for me.

I haven't either, and frankly I don't care, most of the time the achievements take out all the fun from the game, cause they tell you to do specific things

Many achievements in games are so ridiculous that it is very difficult to get every achievement in a game. Kill 100,000 enemies in GoW2? No way I'm sitting through all of that just for an achievement, and there is no way I'm winning 100 battles on Marvel vs. Capcom 2 online with all of those insane players. I've only completed 1 game and that is that Doritos game that was free on XBLA.

That's insane for Gears of War 2, but my brother got the achievement of doing 100 ranked matches in Marvel Capcom 2, he didn't seem to have much trouble at all.

Achievements aren't a sign of how 'hardcore' of a gamer you are. to some people (like me), achievements are just really fun to get. Others could care less about them. As long as you enjoy the game, that's what matters

Achievements are a barrel of BS a lot of the time. I remember beating Topspin 3 on career mode, going undefeatedacross the entire 126 matches on the hardest difficulty. I thought, surely there must be anachievement for that. But no.

I've killed about 3 pigeons in GTA IV,and I love that game.

Completed Shadow Complex without getting a single achievement, but then I got it for free.

I've never gotten more than 800 points in a game except for maybe Fight Night Round 3, which was a joke. I like achievements, but I don't go out of my way to get them, so most games I end up in the 300-500 range that comes with completing the campaign once.
