Am I strange?

I have purchased 4 Xbox 360 games so far: Condemned: Criminal Origins, Perfect Dark Zero Collectors Edition, Call of Duty 3 and The Darkness.

The funny thing is that I don't and have never owned an Xbox 360. Is that weird to any of you?

I buy games for systems I don't own. I figure I'll own it eventually, and if good deals come by, I'll get'em.strayzilla

But what if you never get that console?

Yeah that is strange. You do realise that the longer you wait the further the price drops. Unless you plan to buy a 360 in the next month you are better off just waiting until you actually want the console. You could pay $30 now for something in a sale, but if you don't buy the console for another 6 months you could probably get it for $20 then.

The only games that I have that I don't have a console for are games I've worked on and was given when the project ended.

I don't understand the point of buying a game and then just having to stare at it because you can't play it.

How is collecting games as a hobby strange? Some of us like to throw on NHL 94 and play for hours.

I'm sure everyone here spends money on something else someone thinks is stupid.

No you're not strange. You can easily give those games as gifts to people with 360s already.

Pretty easy. Some of us have been gaming since 1980. I bought 18 2600 games and 3 Genesis games for 18 dollars a few weeks ago. Thats 21 games for 18 bucks. Tons of games go for a buck a piece on EBAY. Spread over 28 years, its easy to have collected that much. People on this site have thousands and thousands of games in their collections..
