I was hyped, but the driving is too geared toward sim for me. I want to enjoy sim racers, but I always find that I can only have fun with arcade racers. I liked everything about the demo except the driving. In fact, I just cancelled my preorder today. I'm picking up Shadowrun instead :)Staryoshi87

yes! shadowrun is what we should be hyped for.  you should get the 360 version though not the PC.

yeah this game definetly seems to appeal to a more mature audience...that way we wont have to listen to people whining about their pimped out ford focuses lol yeah im really pumped for this and i plan for this game to keep me busy until 1 of the next big hitters comes out...bioshock i think?

I think people misunderstand me. Forza for the orginal Xbox CRUSHED all other competition as far as racing sims. I put many many many many hours into the orginal Forza and still play it on my 360. The demo I have been playing into the ground but I dont understand how some people think the graphics look like ****?  The graphics look amazing to me especially on a hdtv. More than 75% of the games options have been disabled so people complain that the DEMO sux?! The demo is the bomb.

Think about it. Most people who enjoy the Ridge Racer/Burnout series (arcade racers) where you can do 200 mph around a 90 degree turn tend to hate games like Forza and GT because you actually have to brake before entering the turn. People who hate on the demo obviously never played the orginal. The demo makes the original look like some ****!!!

Ok, maybe im a lil slow. But I only drive from the cockpit view. Well its just above the hood. Are you talking about the cockpit view like in PGR3? If they did that they would have had to actually render over 300 car cockpits. 

I'm defiantly getting this game, however I plan on kicking my girlfriend in the shins, giving my dog a laxative and jalapeno peppers, lighting a fire in the bathroom and funneling three 40 oz bottles of malt liquor as fast a I can after eating taco bell. Then I'm gonna pull the trigger into my shoes and put them on my ears with staples and wear nothing but extra large diapers...then I'm gonna play.

yea well not exactly reviews..i wont buy it based on the score...i wanna see what they've done with the game, how it looks, and how it plays. Basically i wanna see more up to date footage cause that demo was WELL underwhelming.

What made the demo underwhelming sir? Can you elaborate? The demo has like 21 cars you can chose from. Class A: Regular ***** cars. Class B: High end production cars, Lambo's, Ferrari's and Class RP: Corvette C6 Race Car, Maserati race car. 

Retail version is gonna have over 300 cars, car customization out of this world, test tracks, insane physics engine, over 45 tracks, and the graphics dont look bad at all. I wont even get into the online. The Demo just gives you a taste of what to expect so again how is it underwhelming?

Yeah, in-car cockpit views like PGR3 and supposedly GT5. It would help a lot in the immersion factor. I remember BC stated that they had someone else model their vehicle interiors. Some company based in Australia I believe. Forza 2 could have pulled it off but.. I guess PGR3 got me spoiled.

yeah the old break thing man it's the reason I can't get into racing sims lol hopefully when racing sims really get as close as possible to the real thing I'm ready to plunge 

I was really hyped about it. I almost pre-ordered it about a month ago, but the demo was horrible imo and I think i'll just read the reviews for it first.:(
