To some games. Games with a good story behind them I like to read. I haven't found one for the 360 but for Zelda games I love reading the manual. But games like COD4 and 5 are lame to read. Most of it just tells the control especially since they're always the same with a few minor changes.

I do. When I get home with a new game I take out the manual and go through the whole thing because I get really excited to play the game by the end of it so it's more fun for the first time.

Sometimes I'll read manuals on the crapper. They offer short bursts of information perfect for toilet reading.

Only to see how to save and control the game. If I figure that out on my own I usually don't even see it.

I usually just look up controls, or if it has information on the baddies and weapons and such, then that too.

Back in the day of like N64 especially, I remember how detailed the manuel would and I did enjoy reading them. I still enjoy reading them for particular games like Halo 3 and Gears of War. It disappoints me that some games do not really make manuels any more. More companies dont want to make the effort to create a comprehensive book because they dont think anyone looks at them. Most manuels now-a-days only have information on where to call if it is broken or how to save the game and frankly it is a shame.
