Am I the only one that thinks Halo 3 looks...

Am i the only one that thinks Halo 3 looks really, really good?

The environments in the new video are truly next gen. Having played Halo 2 for so long, Halo 3 looks like a SIGNIFICANT upgrade.  The textures on everything are great, and the shadows are spot on.

I am definately looking forward to this game! 

I do, I am not so much into graphics like I am gameplay. it does look good though

I love the people who say it looks like crap because it's a low quality video. Then the "Alpha" people come along.......why is it that any other game people will say it looks horrible but with Halo 3 all they say is "Pre-Alpha" or "low Quality"?littleman1992

lol agreed. I simply don't think it looks good at all.

It looks great and a big inprovement, sometimes when your playing other very high detailed games like Gears of War and Ghost Recon or Rainbowsix Vegas you look forward to seeing the same thing, but remember each game has it's own art or stlye, Halo has different details and Gears has its own. Try playing Saint's Row in HD and then play GTA SA....

It looks alright, but I don't think it looks as good as a Gears of WAr or a GRAW 2.
It is only the BetaDouglasBuffone

It looks good but it s not a big change from the previous halo. 

Remember people, it's only the beta.

I 3rd  that, its looking already better than Halo 2, and its not finished , many people do not understand this...

they think that this will be the final product...but no its not !! 

its still in the Beta process, long way to go to finish it, and it will look really really good when its released

Because no other company releases weekly updates that show the developement of the game and no other game has leaked content that is always on youtube.

I hate to rain on peoples parade but that is what the graphics will look like in the final multiplayer portion of the game. Graphics rarly change from beta to final product. Singleplayer will definatly have better looking graphics, but online is how it is going to look off that leaked vid.Sully28

I don't think it looks that fantastic, but that's OK to me because Halo is one of the few games in which graphics are of minor importance. The videos make the game look so much fun that graphics just are not noticeable.northface13

I can't argue with that.  Whatever else it may or may not be, it's loads of fun.  So if it isn't photorealistic I doubt people will care much simply because they'll be too busy playing the game.

i'v been saying stuff like that for years. yes graphics are a nice touch and all, but when your having alot of fun you don't even knowtice how good the game looks. like HL2 looks great, but what actually matters is that "OGM yessss" feeling when you kill 6 zombies w/ a steal barrel, and i'm sure halo 3 will give you some awsome "OMG yess" moments to remember.
