I feel they have improved on bad company 2 in so many ways...

better sensitivity when turning, on bad company 2 sometimes it would take you forever to turn around, especially while crouching...

jumping over thing has been made so much smoother and generally all movement feel a lot more solid...

love the ability to dive to the ground... hitting the ground when you are getting shot at can get you out trouble so many times...

graphics are slightly better but i think they have reached the limits of what the xbox can do now...

the sound has been greatly improved from bad company 2... bc2 had over exaggerated sounds that were more cinematic, but b3 sounds much more realistic...

the destruction has been made much more realistic, walls crumble, rockets create realistic looking holes, tiles come fly of walls, and this on a map that does not have tons of destruction... imagine what it will be like with vehicles...

ok ok the map they gave us has no vehicles, but that does not mean the final game will not have vehicles... they most likely want to build are hunger to play the other levels, giving us a little taste without revealing all...

ok ok there are bugs all over the place, but none that really made it annoying to play, and none that cant be fixed pretty easily...

i really cannot believe how badly everyone on this forum has reacted to the beta... i feel like the only one who loves it... is there anyone else out there that loves it and cannot stop playing? part of me feels that most of those who are complaining are doing so because they went on and got owned because they were used to bbc2 and then gave up without giving it a chance...

my brother loves bbc2, when he started playing the beta of b3 he was terrible and hated it, he even said oh no they have ruined it... i told him to stick with it and he would love it when he got used to the new mechanics and sure enough he did and now he loves it...

I'd say no, you aren't the only one. I haven't tried the beta yet, but there is probably at least another person somewhere who loves it. Many more perhaps.

just seems that everyone who has written about it on here has just spoke about not liking it... obviously other people have like it too but just seems like none of them have spoke up... maybe they are all too busy playing it...

I enjoyed it but it was plagued with so many problems. Hope DICE don't rush to beat MW 3's release date and fix all the issues before launch.

I loved it. I play as a short-range recon, and I felt important for my squad. I always took cover, and killed what I could see, sneaked and armed the bomb, then ran away. After that when you enter the metros, we were under heavy surpression fire and rockets flying everywhere (A feature that should have been in all games, because here you MUST get down or else you can't hit them.) and my squad were all prone, then I one by one, took out the ones firing, and we moved on.

I also loved the destructability, sounds of the bullets and so on. So, a bullet hit the cover I was behind, I hear a louder noise than all the other gunfire, and see a piece fall off. I go back, knowing it's safer to stay a while.

It will become a realistic, yet fun game. With the ability to go prone, the gun sounds, destructability, I will definetely play this, because it is not run and gun, and neither is it a game where you need to plan accurately, because the teamwork is kind of "automatic". Just like I mentioned above of what I did.

Well after playing Battlefield BC2, I was gonna pre-order MW3 but after downloading the BF3 beta I was shocked. I absolutely love it. I love the realism feel to it amongst other things. I have to wait to buy it but I can't wait till I am able to play the real thing.

I was unimpressed. Obviously the game is designed with the PC in mind, but to me there was not much improvement over BFBC2 (which I loved). The Frostbite 2.0 didn't make much difference graphically, and yes, I'm aware that this is not the final version. You can't say that your game is going to be a "CoD killer" and then release a crappy beta. This beta was the first taste of BF for a lot of people, how would this make them leave CoD? Also they had a ton of connectivity issues on Xbox 360 on release day. It didn't exactly inspire confidence.

The beta hints at it being an excellent game. Though I feel the beta is the one leftover from E3 and not a specific beta representitive of quality one month before release (it's way too buggy to be at this stage in development). I've been having a blast playing it, and that's taking into account operation metro will probably be one of my least liked maps in the full game.

You are not the only one. I think it is just fine.

The beta is a shell of what the game will really be when it releases.

put it to you this way. i have always been a CoD player and this is my frist crack at a BF game. switched my mw3 preorder to BF3 today. the bugs will be fixed by launch as long as we take the time to do what dice has asked of us and report the bugs.

I hate multiplayer VS modes. I hate playing against people in shooting games. I hate the way people play VS modes in games like Call of Duty and Battlefield and Counter-Strike. That said, I had an enourmous amount of fun with the Battlefield 3 demo. I'm still not likely to buy the game, but it is a good deal of fun.

I thought it was awful and I'm a DICE fan (just look at my ratings history).
