Am i the only one who doesnt have Xbox live?

It seems like all games now are being catered to mlitplayer over live, and the single player campaigns are being forgotten. Is there anyone else on here who doesnt have live, or am i some sort of freak?

Don't worry, you're not alone. I don't have Xbox Live and I won't be getting it anytime soon.

I wouldn't say the single player campaign has been forgotten. But if you remember what Xbox's original vision for the 360 was, they wanted every game to have some sort of online component. I don't play every single game I have online, but I can't imagine not having Live. Especially with the new dashboard update coming soon. You miss out on half of the 360 experience.

It's alright, my friend. I had the Xbox 1 in 2001 and played that entirely without Live. But I got it for 360, and I admit that a lot of games are multiplayer centric now.

But fear not! Soon, you can play Fallout 3, Viva Pinata 2, Guitar Hero IV, and Fable II, which all have great draws for the lone player.

Nope! I need a 100' ethernet cable =). Yeah i know i can go wireless, but i just trust more in the hardline.

when I had the original xbox i didnt have live since i dint have a credit card back then but now the process is easier all i do is buy a month card which is really worth it, its half the xbox experience wouldnt know what to do if i had silver

The original Xbox had no where near the amount implementation of Live as the 360 does, so it didn't really matter that you didn't have it. It was really only to play a few games that had multiplayer components. Halo 2 for example. But there are so many other things you could play around with, with Live on the 360.

I, sadly, currently don't have live. I do have the rip off 100 dollar wifi thingy, and a 3 month gold card, but still, no live :(

i currently only have a silver account, which is good, though i can't play online, xbla arcade titles and demos is still good stuff.

I used to not have live for a long time. I got bored with some of my games so I tried live out and have alot of fun. I have had live since like the end of last year. I am soo glad my modem is right next to my xbox lol I only need like a 5ft line to reach my box.

yeah, it sort of pisses me off, because i have to dish out like 300 bucks to get the other half of my 360 experience. All my friends play live, and i always feel kind of left out. But now with fable 2, farcry 2, and a couple others, i should be able to have a good single player experience this fall/ winter. I just think it sort of sucks that $400 only really gets you half of the 360. :(

I don't play games over Live but I have my box connected to the internet most of the time. I would have a silver account but I've been using the 1 month gold cards I stocked up from dead Xbox repairs :P
