What do you mean "am i to late to get oblivion"? Anyway it's a pretty fun game if you like RPGs. Ya know theres quests that go along with the main questline and side quests for achievements and items. There are also a lot of DLC you get from the Marketplace like the two expansions Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. I'd say go for it.

Oh man Oblivion will never get old. It's one of the best games every made. Just remember these 2 things:

1. You can adjust difficulty(trust me, this game will get hard at times)

2. Don't judge the game in the begining. Once it gets rolling you'll get addicted.

The "Am I too late to get (insert game here)?" question really probably would only pertain to, say, online games. But for single-player games like Oblivion, it's never too late. It's a great game and would definitely last you throughout the summer.

Oblivion is a great game. I definitely reccomend it to anyone who has a lot of time on their hands. The only bad side is that...well you really do need a lot of time for this game. But in a good way. It's not like the typical RPG where you can't do anything until 10 hours of leveling up.

Its never to late to get Oblivion, and you'll be playing it all the time until Halo 3 comes out.  Heck Im still playing it and I got it with my 360 in April of '06.

Simply put, no. Get it, play it, love it, rinse, repeat. It'll be a great buffer until Halo 3 releases.

Productnumber4, is it your intent with your signature file to give people an epileptic fit? I'm not trying to be mean, but wow it's really annoying to read a page of text with that signature file going crazy in your peripheral vision.

Oblivion > Morrowind.  Morrowind is fun, but you need to be ready to forgive some significant faults.

Oblivion is an outstanding game.  Get it, enjoy it.

My one suggetion is that you dont stray to far from the main quest early on in the game, or rush to level up to quickly.  The main quest is great, and since monsters level up as you level up, leveling up to quickly can get you in a tough spot facing high level monsters early on.

This is just one of those ridiculous Threads that you wish would go away.

What the hell do you mean, "too late to get it?" How can you be TOO LATE to have a game? Please, if you've got half a brain, think before you post bizarre threads next time.

It is and always will be worth getting.  It's a purly single player game so you don't have to worry about any online community dying out

no its never to late for RPGS. Maybe for shooters casue no one plays em online after a while, but never for RPGS. I personally enjoyed the game but got bored of it. It one of the most detailed and deep rpgs ive ever played but it could use some more "fun factor" in it. By this i mean "killing quests (monsters) and the arena should be made longer". One of the parts that i enjoyed the most was the Arena. I hope you have as much (or more) fun with it as i did. Ya i think you should get that or Shadowrun or dirt.

Like everybody else has said, it's not too late and probably won't ever be.
Oblivion is a great game, and as you can see from the continues downloadable content there's still a great community out there for it.

i just got it a few days ago, and it's incredible.  you read reviews and hear people talking about it, but you really can't grasp how in-depth, free, and massive the game is util you play it.  i brought it home, and popped it in, and i ended up playing it for 8 1/2 hours the first day.Â
