Just lost my 2nd 360 to the 3 rings of death. I mean come on, why do we have to deal with this crap? Even when it was working fine, I knew it was just a matter of time.  Its just not fair to us. I have the replacement plan from gamestop but its gonna be a while  since we are having  a snow sotrm up here in the north east.

Of these threads coming up every day? Yeah I agree.

Everyone already knows the X360 is a faulty machine. It's quite pointless to keep making threads about it over and over again.

Pointless? I don't think so. Everyone who experiences this problem should speak up. This is wrong, and yes it is a faulty machine but no I do not believe that everyone knows it.

It's not a faulty machine, I've had mine since March '06, and it works fine.  Some people are experiencing performance issues, yes, but they are the minority.

Wrong, I take very good care of it. Wake up the products is faulty. Microsoft needs to reconsider the hardware they are using. If this was an isolated case then fine but there are too many people experiencing the same thing. I understand you want too support microsoft, but don't be blind. Anyone else who has had an xbox 360 die on them understands the frustration, this is my 2nd one and I doubt the last.  I have owned every system since the original NES and have never had to worry about the system like I do my 360.  I don't care what type of company they are, microsoft needs to be held accountable.

i bought 6 launch units,  they ones that were suposed to be faulty,  all 6 are still doing just fine.  then again i read the manual,  and use a surge protector.  why blame yourself when you can blame the hardware.  it's probably the cars fault when the people that have multiple breakdowns with 360's get in an accident.  and when you get a third console it'll probably just be a matter of time too.  there are more defective owners than defective 360s.
