How many hours a day do most of you play because honestly the RROD should never show up. I play for a max of about 3 to mabey 5 if I have no hw or anything.

I've left my system (launch system, btw) on for over a day with a disc running (Viva Pinata, to get the 50 hour achievement) and also done the same recently with Beautiful Katamari. I have also moved 2 times since I've had the system. Never had so much as a game freezing in the past year, let alone RROD.

On a typical day I play for an hour or two.

I play 2 -4 hours or more a week. Too much work and school.

I have an elite with the zephyr motherboard and the better heat-stink extension for the GPU. No worries here.

I have gotten RROD twice.

The xbox is the most unreliable console ever made. It's a failure hardware wise.

ive had 4 RROD consoles. I tend to play for about 6-8 hrs a day 10-12 on weekends. so I average 50+ hours a week.acesion

maybe 2 hours friday, 1 hour satuday and sunday

weekdays is like 2 hours every day

Weekends are probably 6-7 hours if I don't have homework

I'm on my 4th console at 16 months and counting. Like most folks here, weekends take their toll on the machine. Maybe 10 hours in total during the week.

Typically 1-4 hours a day. Maybe 2-10 hours with the KOTOR games.

On weekends, I may play up to 4-5 hours. Two hours, break, and then another 2-3 hours. When I really get into a game, I have no intention of stopping any time. And that's the truth. Lately though, I've only been playing 1-2 hours a night, Gears of War multiplayer and some Team Fortress 2. I'm trying to get into Rainbow Six Vegas (Part 1) but I'm not feeling it. I play at the most 1 hour and then I stop. I have the Orange Box too, and I basically use it only for Team Fortress 2. I get noxious when I play Half-life 2, so I cant play it. :(

When I get a game that I'm really excited about, example Lost Odyssey, I would play for 5 hours straight in one sitting. But that's probably the most I can handle at one time.

Its always random. Some days I can play for 4-5 hours and then there's others I end up playing for an hour or two.

I play about three times a week for 3-4 hours per session. My first 2 20GB 360s went RROD on me at 14 and 15 months respectively. At the time they were out of warranty as it was still 1 year then. I have 2 Elites now and have not had any problems with them.

My friend just got the RROD on a launch system a month ago and he plays a little bit more than I do. Maybe an extra 5 or 6 hours a week. MS fixed his, but he bought an Elite the day of the RROD like an hour after it happened, so he has both now.

I know plenty of people that have their 360 on more than 40 hours a week and their systems are just fine. I think it comes down to bad luck for the most part. One person I know had theirs RROD on the second day out of the box. Now that's bad luck!

I usually can't play during the weekday, as have to much homework or just cbf.

Weekends ll play, but not toooo much. Like 4 hours in total :)

I barely play on the weekday,Im way to tierd when i get home.I play a lot on sundays.And on Saturday Nights sometimes.

lol.. wow you people don't play much. i thought most of you played a lot of time. i have a g/f, record music and still manage to play up to 15-18 hours per day on weekends. i usually pull out all nighters and most of that time is spent in online gaming. i'm doing great in college (well i don't take my xbox with me on weekdays though) but that's probably the reason why i feel like playing so much on weekends. i go out and spend 4-6 hours with my g/f. i also find time to watch my fav shows and hop online. so yeha i find it surprising most of you play only like 1 or 2 hours, i would die.thecobraholder

Right. With that schedule you are saying you sleep about 2 hours a night?

ok first off if you have a job you at least proabably work 20 hours a week...school takes up another 20 hours a week...weekdays you said you play 6-8 hours a day so ill take the average of 7 hours a day which equals 35 hours for the week days...then 10-12 hours on saturday and sunday, average being 11 a day so that equals 22...so far this is 20+20+35+22 hours = 97 hours...if you sleep 6 hours a day that would be 42 hours plus your already 97 hours = 139 hour....this only leaves you a total of 29 hours for the rest of the week to do things such as shower, get ready for the day, eat breakfast lunch, and dinner...drive to work, drive to school, and do other miscellaneous things...either you have no life or you are lying about how much video games you have
