Any chance of getting a HDMI console when sending in non-HDMI?

My 360s warranty is going to be up in September, unfortunately, it hasnt RRODd yet, so im hoping that if it does when i send it in, ill get a HDMI system. What are the chances?

I repair Xbox 360's and have sent more than 20 to Microsoft.

You will NOT get an HDMI console back if you send a non-HDMI console. No chance.

They will either fix your console OR send you another refurbished console of the same type (Xenon for Xenon, Falcon for Falcon, Jasper for Jasper, etc.)

ZERO chance you get anything different back.

haha I wondered the same thing and when my xbox broke it was replaced by a standard old console without HDMI. Microsoft wouldn't give you a better console back unless your lucky like some people in this thread apparently. HDMI aint really what its cracked up to be though, I just use the hd composite cords and I got a pretty picture.

I've had my xbox replaced twice since they had the HDMI's on. No HDMI port on either. It sucks.

I know they do give them out, but they have more non-HDMI ones to give people that are "fixed"/no HDMI.

Okay thanks for the replies, its just that they are going to stop producing current 360 models when the slim comes out, so i dont how much of an affect it will have on my chances of getting a HDMI 360 back.
