Any new news about the next Microsoft Console?

Information like:

- Will they use DVD or HD DVD?

- Release date?

- Name of the console?

Right now if there's no information when will Microsoft release information?

Why 4 years mininum microsoft made the 360 just about 4 years after the first xbox so I say wait about 2 years and we will start hearing about a new console and maybe 43-4 years and we will have a new microsoft console.

I'm sure the next Xbox is the last thing on Microsoft's to-do list. They're probably more worried about fixing the problems with the current box.kennykaos317

There will be I hope I love xbox and the things that microsoft have done to the console community I honestly don't belive mircrosoft will step down from the console buissness , they want to become top dog.

okay, i get it, that your post is very old, and stuff, but the next box should already launch in 2011 or 2012, so that's in 4-5 years, in your comment. And for the first comment of this thread, I would like to say, that they won't use DVD in 2011 and 2012, what the fuk are you thinking? In 2011 or 2012 even blu-ray will be a format, that is sold to red-necks for a lousy $50 . Then there is going to be something more bigger. I heard there are some hologram-disks in development, which can hold on to 1TB. But yeah, I read about a prediction on a site, and they believe, that the next xbox is gonna have: 8GB GDDR2 RAM, a 5 Ghz processor, with 16 cores, and so on, and so on. But I believe (actually I hope) that Microsoft pwns Sony's next console. Although, I believe, their gonna do the same mistake, they did with the xbox 360, that Sony will launch their console a year later, when there's a new format out, and stuff. But I hope.
