Any news if konami plans to make MGS4 version for the xbox360?

well I played all the MGS series from the ps to the ps2 just wondering if there are any rumors if the game mgs4 will make it's way to the360?

Not impossible, just currently unlikely. Remember how the PS2 was too inferior a system to ever get Resident Evil 4? Remember How one of it's developers said if Resident Evil 4 Ever came out on the PS2 that he'd cut his own head off? Remember how great Resident Evil 4 is on the PS2? Fortunes and alliances are constantly changing, and They swore (at first) that the Xbox would never see MGS2, and it ended up with an enhanced version. As I understand it, MGS4 ended up in the discount bin pretty fast, so it might not have been the blockbuster the hype had predicted.

In other words, don't hold your breath, but don't rule anything out.

You could always go buy a PS3 just for MGS4 like I did. Haha. :roll:

Ouch, burn! lol. I'd say it's a 50/50, IMO. A lot of people say "no" to exclusives going multiplatform, but in this gen,everything has more freakin' plot twists than a soap opera.

do you have any other prove other than the RE4 port? cause a lot of people have brought that up but i don't see anyone naming another game that did the same thing , and last gen was different, discs aren't as hugely different as now yes graphically it can be cut down to work for 360 but not the game size , the damn game needed a game install between EVERY game session and that's with the help of bluray ,how many discs do you think the game would have if it was for 360? 8? 11? and yes i know that the data was uncompressed on bluray but even if it was it would need HELL a lot of HDD installs and disc switching every 6 hour and it still would take a huge hit both graphically and performance wise. bottem line even if konami made a lot of money from a 360 port  they'll be spending TONS of time and resource that are needed for other games to only come up with a broken , half-A**** port.

I doubt it. But you never know what could happen down the road.

Personally, I played the game on my PS3, and to be honest, I didn't like it. I didn't see what all the hype was about. I really didn't care for it.

Konami has been quiet about it lately but I hope it does. I like the MGS series a lot, but not enough to buy a PS3 for it.

Maybe they're creating one of those Substance... Subsistence?  Whatever versions of the game, like they did with the other MGS games and that will come out for the 360 :)

Once and for all, NO!!!!! The 360 would take at least 4 disks to play it anyways.dukebd699
