Any Problems with Xbox Slim?

We all know that the old Xbox 360's were practically GAURANTEED to break down at some point. It wasn't a matter of if, but WHEN. In fact I don't know ONE person who's Xbox hasn't broken! BUT ... the story changes with the Xbox 360 slims.

I havn't heard any news of anyone's slims breaking down. NORE SHOULD I HAVE DAMMIT! But I just wanted to know, is there a buz going around that I don't know about, or has Xbox basically fixed the 360 breakdown problems with the slim?

haven't heard of any issues, though more time is needed to make sure i would suppose. i own the slim myself.

I replaced my old pro model with the new slim about 2 months ago. Haven't had any problems with it yet. But it is noticeably hotter than my previous system. I hope that's normal.

I've had mine for almost exactly a year. I did have one problem back in February...my hard drive died. Turned it on one night and got an E69 error screen. I sent in my HD (only had to send that in, kept my 360), and MS sent me a new HD for free. Worst thing was losing my game data. I still haven't gotten around to playing a lot of the games that I lost data for.

I've had mine since launch. I haven't recieved any rrod, and its much quieter then the normal xbox 360.

I have an Xbox Slim, have had it for 9 months now and it hasn't broken down on me yet.

Well, now you know one person. I have an old Xbox 360 Elite that I bought back in July 2008, and it has never given me any trouble.

I've had my slim 250gb since March of 2011 and i've had 0 PROBLEMS! and im very happy with it.
