I need a Cable/DSL Modem so I can connect to Xbox Live. Can anyone suggest one? I need the cheapest one I can find because I don't really care much about anything but playing Xbox Live. I want one that doesn't hook into my computer. So I guess a Modem Conection. Please provide a link. Thanks!

I use the mosem that came with my comcast service.  I believe it is a type of motorola which they refer to as a 'surfboard.'  Hope that helps.

umm... you don't buy one at the store? Last time I checked, when you sign up for DSL or Cable Internet the company you sign up with gives you a modem and everything. You just need a WiFi router to plug in so you can get wireless internet on your laptop, and split the ethernet connection amongst your PC and 360.

Call up whatever companies are in the area, the modem is included in the startup costs for whatever plan you decide on.Â
