i never clicked with it, was decent but when i played online no one was racing, just free driving around the map, and maybe im wrong but im sure i remember i wasnt allowed to drive everywhere because i hadnt beasted the campain.
I used to be addicted to it and finished the race where you get trhe really goof Alfa Romeo 8C car. But I soon started to get tired of it and two years later I get back on and the server is empty. There was maybe 2 or 3 other people but that was it. Man, I wish that people still played that game.
It had a lot of fun elements. I like designing my own track layouts. I loved the free-roam and the size of the island(probably what I spent most of my time doing). I loved the variety of cars and the cockpit views. But I hated a lot of the challenges. Trying to get from one point to another in a certain amount of time relied too much on luck. It didn't matter how good you were behind the wheel, traffic was inevitably going to ruin your run. It just got too frustrating after a while, especially on the long challenges.There were too many times where I'd try like 10 times to do a challenge only toget going real good, but then missing out when I'm within half a mile. Itwas just too much of a disappointment for me to want to go back and keep trying.
I pick it up every once in a while just to mess around, but I dont think I can ever actually 'get into' the game again.
I played it quite a bit but then it started telling me that I have content that no longer exists on marketplace. I was thoroughly pissed that I couldn't play it anymore, especially since I won every race and was close to beating all the missions.

Because of that message it takes me to the marketplace and won't allow me past the start menu, it has rendered the game unplayable. I'm sorry because I would play it with you if I could.
I had loads of fun playing TDU as I had a few friends playing it around the same time. We would keep challenging to beat each others times as well as making the custom challenges at the diner. I ended up buying one of every car, and a lot of the houses. It was a great island to go exploring and racing round, getting to Eden Island through the teleporter. My favourite race had to be Island Tour - 120 miles all round the island :) Took about 40-45 mins but a great fun high speed thrill. A while back there were some leaked screenshots of potentially TDU2, though still no official word from Eden that they are working on it. Looked great.
i still play test drive still love the game and would like people to play online with and i only need 1 achievement for interclub races and if anyone can help me with this 1 i would be greatful

Yup, me and a few of my friends still like to jump on this from time to time and cruise the island. Great Game, I hope they are working on a sequel, it was the 1st title on 360 to have a group chat like that.

Yes. I saw them on another site, but those were the pics. I think the story linked to them was about them being shots of the game from early-mid 2007
a really good game, yet i have seemed to loose intrest in it. What is the best car btw, ive heard many different cars. I sometimes just randomly play it to get that thrill of getting behind the wheel of a ferrari or lambo, though as said before, some challenges can get frustrating.
