Any1 play without the Intercooler?

I'm gettin' a Xbox Elite soon and I'm wondering if the intercooler is really neccesary.

Thank god I am glad you didn't buy it you would have had a broken Elite.

I use one.  It certainly can't hurt your 360.  I'm not sure it if is a scam, but it only cost $10 and I my 360 runs for 6 to 10 hours a day.  It stays quite cool...

Exactly, never buy any product for your system, unless it was licensed by the company, you run the risk of voiding any warranty you have, including the extended service ones.

And man, that pic is pretty messed up, that poor 360 =( 

I got one for when I move house and my new house is always hot.

But for the past year I've not been using one.

Do not buy one,it actually makes the 360 hotter as it drains power from the 360 itself.

Those things should be taken off the shelves imo.

i just keep my 360 rite next to my lil fan and it works fine...intercooler messes up your 360
