Topic. I just feel like they have had all this time to work on it and the only thing I see is a very slight graphical improvement. I know it i only a beta, but if the game releases in Sept. it must be in a very mature stage of development and right now it doesn't seem to be all that impressive if you look past the hype......i'm still looking forward to the story/campaign mode, but right now I am just not sure I am going to be able to get into what seems like little more than Halo 2.1 (that is, Halo 2 with a small expansion to improve graphics a little and a couple of new additions that could have been added via an update). Anyway, don't want any nasty comments just wondering if anyone else agrees or am I the only one?
So how did the game play? instead of jus moaning about the god damn gfx.D4rkfire
I think I pretty much said that the game played just like Halo 2 with very slight changesn and that was the problem.....did you even read my post? these are the type of hype-defending comments that I wanted to avoid. if you want to make little comments like this go elsewhere.

I respect your opinion but I feel that Halo 3 is worth the hype. The graphics are vastly improved. Remember this is Halo and not a lifelike game like Gears. The artistry is completely different and superb. I love the beta but my only worry now is the single player campaign mode. I hope the story is good!
You need to remember it's a multiplayer beta. Halo 2 multiplayer was huge, it was a massive hit.
Bungie would be stupid to change the multiplayer to much so don't expect it to "play" differently, it's a lot of fun you've just brought into the hype and that will always lead to disapointment.
