I've never really been into Civilization games but I'll defiantly rent it to see what it's about.

I've played the Civ games off and on for the PC for many years. Generally I would get bored of it. I'm hoping the new streamline and getting rid of the clutter, the game should be more fun and remain fun for many months.

looks like fun for a few days, but i dont know how its going to work without a mouse and keyboard. Renter at best, unless its massively addicting.

I played the demo a few times and it works pretty well with the controller.

Meh. It's alright. On higher difficulties you'll find that every other civilization wants to kill you, and only you. each game only lasts about 2 hours, and there's no option to increase/decrease the size of the game map, or choose how many other nations you'll be playing against.

I kind of am. I love the series, and I haven't even downloaded the demo (I have been meaning too, but just haven't got round to it yet) I have my worries though because Civ 4 was SO amazing, playing Civilization on console might be weird.

I played a lot of Civ2 and Civ4 and just the Civ:Rev demo, rev isnt bad at all but dont think your getting a civilization experience like the one PC gamers are getting. It's fun in its own way but not as deep or big as Civ4. I'm not excited about it, I liked building up a huge civlization and zooming in on the cities in Civ4 but the size and amount of costumization isnt anywhere near that of Civ4.

I've been a fan of the civ series since the beginning and i had high hopes for this one, after i tried the demo it's just to watered down for long time fans of the series.

Yeah, kind of. I didn't play the demo though because I don't feel like putting a lot of time into a demo like that.

It's out in Europe but not NA.

Anyway, the game is a great first try and I'm sure they'll be making more.

Yah, i have never played civ games before, but i played the demo for Civ Rev, and it seems really fun. I will probably rent it and then buy it if its worth it.
