Just wonderin if the game is any good. Sounds promising, I liked the original roleplaying game. First thought this was gonna be an rpg, but I'm a fps fan anyway...
Yeah, I was in the beta. At first, I realy liked it, but it wore off quickly. I was really excited for the game, and had it on my list a few months ago, but now I really dont care. The main problem with the game, is that its seemed as though FASA spent too much time balancing the powers (which they did btw), but not enough time making the actual shooting part of the game fun. Im normally a fan of arcade shooters, but this was just sloppy.
Granted I played a beta, but I think it was a pretty good example of what the game will be. Im sure many people will love it, but I think most will play it for a little while and then never play it again.
That sucks to hear, I had high hopes. I'll rent it maybe to give it a try, was hoping for a demo. Seems if a developer thinks a game is good, they put out a demo. If it sucks they put one out a few months after the release to peak some interest. Not that this always holds true...
I played in the beta and loved it. Played it constantly throughout the beta. Severly lacked sleep by the end yet I still didn't log in the top 100 as far as time played. Almost everyone I played with and against also loved it. Some compared it to counterstrike with magic.
