I got this from somebody on gamespot. I just put a frozen bottle of water an inch infront of the 360's intake, and a rag beneath it so my desk doesn't get wet. It sucks cold air into it.

yea I heard that works, I need to move my xbox for the room though

i have mine in side closer to the front. keeps it alot cooler.

The parts where you feel air being sucked in... If it's horizontal, the right side...

Basically you don't want it in the back because you are pushing hot air back in. The fact that it is hot back there means it's doing it's job and getting the hot air out of your console. Putting something by the intake may help though.

dang i might have to try that, even though my 360 has never acted up. Ahhh welll better to be safe then sorry.
