I noticed some of my friends that don't have 360's yet already bought some games and accessories. Anyone else done that before?

I really dont understand people doing this as surely, later on when you got the 360, the games you had bought would be cheaper ...

Ya lol I bought Oblivion before I had a 360.... I was so pumped I just couldn't wait. O and I bought the game guide too.:roll:

well i got mine 2 weeks after lanch and i got my games and extra controler before i got my xbox 360

Well i pre-ordered my Xbox 360 in Septermber '05 and the guy told me I preserved it on the last day to recieve it on Launch Day. Well obviously this was wrong, Well that day I also reserved my copy of Quake 4 and picked up my game on November 21st and didn't get my 360 until late Jamuary '06. That's all I got before my console though.

i did the same thing reserved in sept 05 then finally got it in january but i was deployed from the end of sept to end of april so i had already 8 games and an extra controller before i even got home if that counts

I got COD2 and PGR3 before the 360 came out because the games came in before the system did...it sucked looking at them for 2 days with no system to play them on.

i bought gears of war and a halo 2 faceplate 2 days before i got my 360 because they were on sale....and then the next day the 360 was 100$ off... so..i saved like 120$ because i bought some stuff before and my 360 later!
