Anyone else ditching Army of Two once you get the acheivements?

I know I am! I swear, this game gets worse and worse the more times I play through the SP. The ONLY redeeming quality is the MP. I have yet to lose a match online. Too bad you can't play ranked with a guest. My highest total happened last night when I was playing with my friend splitscreen. I think it topped out at 3.6 million. The other team only had 600 thounsand something, can't really remember. Other then the MP, the game is junk. The team mate AI is useless. Thanks for dragging me INTO enemy fire, then heal me or letting us get flanked from your side. :roll:

Anyways, I know it's old news by now, but once I get the achievements there's no reason to really keep this game. I've already got half of achievements right now. I should have the rest by this weekend. Probably trade it in and help my friend pay off his copy of RSV2.

Yeah, we do that for each other all the time. When we trade stuff in, we do it collectively. So I trade in some stuff, he trades in some stuff, then we pool the credit together and buy what ever we want. I traded in my PSP and some games and he traded in a couple of 360 games, paid off my copy of RSV2 and we both bought some games and applied what was left, which was like $20, to his pre-order of RSV2.

He's even paid for a game when I didn't have money to spend on it (not broke, but not enough to blow on a game. My wife manages our finances). It's cool to have a friend like that. He's not rich either. Quite the opposite actually. We're both in the same tax bracket. lol

Yes I'll be trading it is for R6V2, 30bucks back isn't to bad, should have rented it only took me 3 days to beat it roughly 4 times on SP with Co-Op buddy for achievements! No However I'd have to say the game was fun while it lasted

It was a good rental, since there are not that many co-op games that come out. However with Rainbow six Vegas coming out, not time for Army Of TWO.

i agree about team AI being bad and enemy AI pretty bad too shooting mechanics are barely usuable. my biggest dissapointment in the game is the multiplayer its just unfinished unpolished untested in my opinion and just not any fun at least for meclarkportmanken

Yeah, it's pretty shallow. Especially since there's not many maps or gameplay modes. I do like the idea of competing against another team to complete objectives, while NPCs take shots at your teams and pretty much complicate things. Like you said, it all just feels unfinished. It's really a shame since it has so much potential. Maybe we'll finally get it all for the sequel or prequel possibly?

Yup and I hated how everyone would get kicked from the match if someone quit. I'm so glad I didn't buy this game.

That's the only one that probably won't get. I think EA put that achievement in there just so people would keep playing. So it'll most likely get traded in without that one achievement being complete.

I was thinking about trying out Army of Two to boost my gamerscore, but after seeing that achievement I decided that I would never be able to get 1000/1000, mainly because it's made by EA and their servers are horrible.

Why continue to play a game you don't enjoy playing? Some meaningless points are that important to you?

The game was great fun on my first playthough. But that was it for me. I tried playing it again and I just can't get into it. It's a 1 pump chump game for me.

man its not that bad of a game, i enjoy it and when playing with other people, not AI its fun as hell

and the MP is awesome too, dont know what all the hating on it was about
