Anyone else happily frustrated?

Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely eccentric that the three games I've been waiting for are coming out in a matter of 1-3 weeks.

Call of Duty 4 - November 5th
Assassins Creed - November 13th (1 week after)
Mass Effect - November 20th (1 week after Assassins)

Isn't that in itself frustrating though? I mean... how will I be able to enjoy each game to the fullest when I have 2 other AAA games sitting there?

Well I can't say that exactly... I should say... how will I be able to enjoy CoD4 and Assassins when I have Mass Effect in my 360 24/7?

I mean why did everyone have to wait until the month of November to release their games? Shouldn't the releases of games be spread out more, so that we, the consumers won't ever lose interest in having to wait?

Why do publishers think that if they release their games around holiday time that they will profit more?

If everyone releases around holiday time, doesn't that mean more competition? Doesn't that mean less sales?

Seriously I'd rather fork out 70 dollars every three months (I'm buying CEs for all of the games listed above) than to have to fork out 210$ within one month (luckily I have CoD4 paid off so it's more like 100$).

Bah! But a happy bah at that.

hehe, I understand the spirit of this post but at the same time I am compelled to say that there isn't a rush for these things. They don't come with an expiration date:P

i hear ya, although i won't be getting Mass Effect at release, i'll prolly pick it up second-hand around christmas.

on top of that, i've got NBA 2k8 coming out on Nov. 15 (PAL release), and that's the game i'll be playing most of all because i'm a NBA nut lol.

heres a plan.... GET COD4 it wiil be a must have and must KeEP. wait a bit and get mass effect(long sigle player hopefully) then wehn the price drops or u could just rent assasins creed(probably 20 hr campain) also im getin orange boxand many others...thegreat_one3

I'm sorry but as a Bioware junkie... and a true KOTR fanatic... not buying Mass Effect (CE at that) the day it comes out is just plain disgraceful...

If anything I'd wait out on CoD4 (strange I know... but I already have Orange Box and Halo 3... how much FPS can one person get?)

playing games to its fullest atm for me is not the problem, im a quite a big collector in games like... if a game has a Collector Edition or Limited i have to get that instead of the regular version, in the end it becomes quite pricey (aka Legendary Edition Halo 3.. $170.00 CA)

Lol I know what you mean. We need less 5 year olds on Halo 3 whose parents buy them everything turning them into little brats who will kill a teammate just for the energy sword.

I on the other hand... work to earn my money... to invest into games... and tuition :(.
