Anyone else hate Halo 3 ?

I don't see what's the big fuss about it . The game is too fast paced and graphics are mediocre.

I never understood why people enjoyed the Beta so much. i thought it was a rip-off of Halo 2 with a few new added features...Graphic wise im not sure if theres much difference i was quite disappointed.

If u ask me i'd prefer R6: Vegas or better yet whenever the new Battlefield 3 game. Thats the game im looking forward to the most.

thats the # 1 thing i don't get about the halo haters is them saying it looks just like halo 2...caus it totaly doesn't! put halo 2 and 3 side by side and it's like night and day.

At E3, Bungie is going to surprise us all with campaign gameplay with graphics.

Dude everyone has different tastes , so its not the game for you, its not gonna change the fact that it will sell millions of copies. Also one of the things that makes the game exciting is that its so fast paced, I really hated Gears of Wars multiplayer cause it was slow only because you couldnt respawn once you died and its always a shotgun fest or the first one to get the sniper rifle and have his buddies covering him up. To me it was boring as hell but to a lot it was great fun, so to each his own.1_Hit_Killer

i personally found the beta to be pretty enjoyable, the fact that bungie added tbagging physics just prove that their taking themselves less seriously and dont consider themselves to be "the $h!t" anymore which means they wont f up like halo 2. but to be fair my main reason for liking halo 3 is RvB lol

Fast paced? I thought it was slow paced -_- I didn't like H2 and I've never played H1 though, so meh. I'm cancelling my H3 pre-order soon.... It's just not for me. Staryoshi87

Perhaps you aren't being critical enough, eh? :) But I don't get the appeal of Halo.... Nothing about it stands out to me and makes me want to say "wow." Hopefully the new UT can follow in its ancestor's footsteps and show what a real fast-paced shooter's all about =D I won't knock anyone for diggin' halo... but man, it just isn't anything special to me.

Ok, "Fast Paced", only if the only other shooter that you've ever played is Gears of War, compared to a game like Unreal Tournament Halo is slow. If you want to slow down the pace of play you could just make a custom game and have it be multiple rounds of a 1 life only game. If you don't like fast-paced games then that's fine, but don't start complaining about it now, Halo and its style of game play has been out for years. Next "i thought it was a rip-off of Halo 2" No! Really? Halo 3 is a rip off of Halo 2?! I never thought of it like that! Sequels are rip offs of the original product. If a company has a critically acclaimed system that works and decides to reuse it in a sequel then they are ripping themselves off.

yea... everyone wants to be a critic :roll: the Halo3 beta was a mighty enjoyable privilege and as long as Bungie doesn't dumb down the actual single player game to focus on the online multiplayer (a slight error they made with Halo2) I'm looking foward to owning this game and being apart of the hype that will follow.

Besides... hate is such a nasty word...

well if u watched tv G4 pretty much said that that is the halo 3 multiplayer ms just put beta on so that if people complained they good say well its just a beta an to me the beta sucked it was a big let down it was almost exactly the same as halo but with vista halo 2 graphics

slowly i think it is getting worse, but i still love it, HALO 1 FOR LIFE!

A good shooter? -_- The game didn't suffer from many, if any, technical errors, from what I've played, I'm just saying it's not special. That's imo, of course, so who cares? My legitimate (and personal) complaint is that the game itself isn't good, not that there's anything wrong with it. Bungie's got it easy...

Having a vast amount of PC shooter experience, I have yet to find a shooter besides Lost Planet that I really enjoy on the console... sigh... I just wish these halo fans knew that the grass is greener... Mada mada dane.

people are just being overly critical of this game because it's very mainstream, and everyone wants to be "different". Bottom line is that this game will be great, sell millions of copies, and some people wont lie it. I don't like the reident evil games, but im sure they are great, just not my kind of game. So just because you don't like a game, that doesn't mean it's not good, it jst means it's not good to you, so stop. So you're insinuating that the only detractors of the game feel as such because they wish to act according to counter-culture? That's hardly the case. Forums are in place for the free exchange of ideas, whether they're intelligent, untintelligent, or.... worse :) The price of being free to post whatever is the consequence of someone else being able to post whatever they want in response.... so we're free to spout that we don't like x game or we love y game.... and people are free to (dis)agree... as long as they do so somewhat intelligently. People that are louder when it comes to criticism or support tend to be that way because they feel the general opinion to be opposite theirs and that if they aren't loud... no one will hear.... which is usually the case :) I'm cancelling my H3 preorder, and I'm going to shout it to the world!!! (or atleast this forum....) Oh no! Fighter planes are approaching and their pelting me with flame-spams!!! Ah!!!

Long story short.... I'mma say what I want.... within reason :)
