Anyone else not a fan of Shadow Complex?

With all the hype surrounding this game, I gave the demo a try last night. Man, it was terrible! The cutscene at the beginning was hilarious and cheesy - the graphics were mediocre, and the controls feel sloppy. I couldn't bring myself to play it for more than 5 minutes. I've heard people compare Shadow Complex to Metroid, but Metroid was a good game. Is there anyone else who thought the demo blew? I'm sure the full game is better, but I'm not going to find out.

Same here. The game is easily one of the best looking XBLA games and it's a fantastic game on top of that.

I wonder what games this guy thinks have good graphics if shadow complexes arent.

Nah. Shadow Complex is the best downloadable game this generation.

I played the demo and it was decent. Not the type of game I was looking for so now I think i am going to be buying splosion man because i had more fun with it.

I played the trial game and didnt really dig it. The jumping and shooting didnt work well imo.

No, not at all

Trine looks nowhere near as good as Shadow Complex

You're only digging yourself deeper, it's one thing to not like the gameplay but to miss everything THIS much?

You're either trying to be difficult or you have some of the oddest taste in things I've ever experienced

It's not terrible, but at same time it's not the best xbox live arcade game I've ever played. I'll buy it down the road, but it's not a necessity. Doomtime

He's probably some say something like Castlevania, Alien Hominid, or Castle Crashers. Somewhere in those lines. Oh, did I forget to mention MvC 2? :P

I tried it didnt really like but then agian besides Mario and metal slugI dont like side scrollers haha o and splosion man is impressive too haha

I hate it right now, because I am at a part where the game decided to save in a not save point with me at 64 health in between two rooms of death... and pretty much stuck.
