Haven't heard news on the next title but you know it'll come out eventually. They're working on the new Ghost Recon at the moment so Rainbow probably won't start till after they finish.

I'd love another Rainbow game, but pleaaase none of those spawning enemies, or at least work out the kinks. Nothing worse than staring into a building, it's empty, you climb a ladder and just near the top you see a terrorist fall 3 feet from the sky with a shotgun leveled at your head... :(

Oh I know what you mean. The worst was the terrorist hunts. You would be down to that one last enemy and he would just spawn right behind you...With a shotgun lol.

I don't believe they spawn near you.They do run into you from times to times, though, and it's an annoyingly fast process/death..

Yeah they do, trust me. I've played enough T-Hunt to know. They sometimes spawn right behind you.

They do spawn on you sometimes. The AI never triggers them, only you. I've gone up rappels or ladders and seen them spawn either right in front of me, or exactly to the left. And in under a second they have reacted with a perfectly aimed shotgun to your temple. If you play with two people on some maps it can be quite funny. One player stands back in cover on the high ground as the other player sprints everywhere. You see a bunch of terrorists fall from the sky like rain and start going ape. It's probably the only drawback to the game, other than the horrendous split screen graphics.
Yeah another one is quite welcome I love the franchise. The Vegas branch has attracted a lot of new gamer's attention and I' m sure the sequel is coming in a year or two.
Funny you mention Rainbow Six as I was looking around the net yesterday for any info I could find! Needless to say, my search was unsuccessful... hopefully we will see either another Rainbow Six or Ghosts Recon in the near future..
