anyone else think they may be adding a little too much gadgetry to halo3?

i was already wondering how they planned to properly implement all of the known gadgets and such from the beta into the game, now after the latest info leak we find out that theres much more to come.

one of the things that made halo great was its simplicity. now theres gonna be all of these different sorts of shields/grenades/generators etc. laying around.

anyone else think that this will undoubtedly lead to some overly hectic and complicated - unbalanced gameplay?

man i love it the reason everyone loved the multiplayer on perfect dark was the amount of weapons and gadjets. change is good. halo 2 was really horrible imo im really excited for halo 3 i loved the beta.

in everything that i said what would give you the idea that that's what i meant?

i never said "its going to be too hard to use them" i said having all of these gadgets will make for some really hectic and ridiculous gameplay.

some of these gadgets are used for such specific situations that it seems stupid to even have them just taking up space. (the gadget that blows up vehicles baring down on you?)

whos gonna have the awareness when running for their lives' to cycle through an inventory of crap and find the right tool to use in this specific situation lol.

i guess i should find out more about how they work first. do you only get to hold one gadget at a time? are these gadgets just randomly laying on the ground throughout the map?

im not saying that their shouldnt be ANY sort of gadgetry, i just get the feeling that they may have added a few too many. your going to have a field riddled with this stuff and it may make things a bit cluttered.

and yes, i didn't play the beta, but I'm pretty sure you can only hold one gadget at a time

Yes you can only hold 1 equipment at a time and they are found on fixed locations just like the weapons. They are really simple to use and fun to play with.

on a side-note. It's impossible to like halo 3.. and NOT like halo 2.. because there isn't that much difference, it makes no sense

You can never tell until the game comes out, my only wish is that they fix the cheats that many punks use online because they are sore losers. i F'ing hate cheaters. all those super jumping, lag creating, flying across the map with the sword, non-gamers. oh man i hope bungie finds a way to fix that crap, that is what killed halo2. and you are right, they are just sore losers, and its sad that they actually refer to themselves as gamers.

Those were my thoughts when I was playing the Beta... I thought there was way too much stuff... and then I find out there will be even more.

I'm really concerned, though having played Halo for years and years... I don't even know if I'll be getting 3.
