love guitar hero and i think for the most part the song lists have been pretty good.

but metal now is bigger than its ever been, not to mention the classics from the past you could throw in.

a lot of gamers are metal heads, and the most important point ALMOST EVERY METAL SONG IS GUITAR DRIVEN.

so what about a guitar hero metal, featuring only... here we go: lamb of god, hatebreed, chimaira, trivium, cannibal corpse, mastodon, machine head, soulfly, sepultura, slayer, morbid angel, devildriver, spineshank, arch enemy, amon amarth, marilyn manson, pantera, megadeth, anthrax, the sword, black sabbath, job for a cowboy, suicide silence, five finger death punch, throwdown, atreyu (how gh has gone so far without them is beyond me), demon hunter, acid bath,psychostick, slipknot, bleeding through, shadows fall, bullet for my valentine, born of osiris, winds of plague, cradle of filth, devil wears prada, dope, dragonforce, gojira, in flames, killswitch engage, lacuna coil, poison the well, lollipop lust kill,rob/white zombie, straight line stitch, unearth, woe of tyrants, 36 crazyfists!!!!

some ridiculous metal bands: dillenger escape plan, pig destroyer, converge,

some nu metal: coal chamber, union underground, godhead, crossbreed,

throw in some radio rock: disturbed, red, nickelback, flyleaf, evanescence, hurt, papa roach, linkin park, korn, limp bizkit, staind, sick puppies, hollywood undead, hinder, cavo, rage against the machine, nirvana, 10 years, pearl jam, collective soul, rev theory, theory of a deadman, mudvayne, alice in chains,

etc.etc.etc.

i know some of these bands have been featured before, but they've all got some GREAT SONGS! all are guitar driven!!!!! other instruments would be a blast to play too (if you could keep up with the drums)

unless people start hitting this, this will be my only bump, but i find it hard to believe that more gamers out there don't want something like this, especially those looking for a challenge...

agreed man!!!! But please.. if you do that kind of game.. LEAVE NICKELBACK, theory of a deadman etc.. bands out of that masterpiece. But yeah, we need more metal in these games!

Yes yes yes i want it too. Pig Destroyer would be sick on guitar hero. The problem is rock band has destroyed this concept in a way because now all the games come with microphones so there just going to keep coming out with the same old songs every year. What they need to do is put more songs for download like cannibal corpse, necrophagist, BDM, stuff like that. I know on rock band 2 you candownloadcannibal corpse, behemoth, and BDM. They just need to come out with like a song pack like Guitar Hero Metal Songs or something.

yeah I'm done with music games but if they made a 100% metal GH game i would buy it in a heart beat i would love to see a game with modern metal bands.

I was hoping they would do a Guitar Hero Ozzfest. There's been enough Ozzfest' that the track list would be staggering. They could set it up like any other GH. You start out doing sets for the battle of Ozzfest, then you start as as the morning act and eventualy as you progress through the game you headline Ozzfest. Think about all the kick ass bands that played at Ozzfest over the years. Tell me it wouldn't be a hit among metal fans.
