Mines starts up REALLY loud, like louder than a desktop computer x4.. I can compare it to a VCR Rewinding. I have it on a cart/stand and i have carpeted floors. When i put a game in (like oblivion) it sounds like a jet engine. There is NO way for me to ignore it. It even VIBRATES when I put the game in, then when i close out to the dashboard this thing sounds like a plane coming in from landing its like VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRrrrrrrmmmmmm then it slowly tunes down which is followed by an aftershock vibration. I am not making this stuff up people this systems makes almost my entire room vibrate. It has not done this sense I sent it to be fixed.. sure they fixed it but wtf? Anyone else has this issue?
Yeah, when the disc starts to spin mine sounds like a jet. Quiet when a disc isn't running but when i'm playing something it's loud. But my 5.1 surround takes care of that for me :D
Yep lol a lot louder then any connsole I have before. When you put a disc in and boot up a game thats when the Jet Engine like noise cuts in. I so loud it blocks out people chatter from out side which is good cause it can be annoying. Awesome machine though and I play it alot more than my Ps3.
nope minedoesnt.. i mean it makes lil noise thats all and when i play it i have fan and tv on obivously so i cant hear it..and my tv is up loud so i get the game expericne better..so i havn heard my 360 since a long time..lol
Yeah,I had that problem with mine before I traded it in for an Elite. I thought that it helped to add sound to Gears. When I chainsawed someone the two sounds would match up and give me an even more realistic sound. It was great. Sadly, my new elite makes no such noise.
dude that used to happen to me until i got it fixed. then it was reallly quite when i got it fixed. but it also does it for some games, for me its sports games for some reason. madden 07 and nba 2k7 probably because they are older. just sendit in because i didnt do anything about it and then it started cracking my games.
my 360 dosent sound like that at all. the only thing i can hear is he humming of the fans and its not very loud. it sounds like your 360 is messed up or something.
My 360 has gotten pretty loud, right before I got three red lights, but not as loud as a jet engine. :lol: And I'm pretty sure it's never acted like one, unless you are willing to attack to a jet and try it out.
