Anyone excited about Saints Row 2?

Anyone excited about Saints Row 2? Thinking about getting it.

Also does anyone think saints row 2 is better than gta Because Someone told they did and i thought they was crazy.

I'm looking forward to it as theres more things to do than GTA 4 plus i think Rockstar went the wrong direction with GTA4 The story line didn't hit for me and the realistic approach took alot of fun out of it. I.e No ammu-nation stores. I think SR2 will be more humorious and crazy but it won't/can't score better than GTA 4.

I think its pretty good game however i hated on the first one when you in a car going full throttle it seems like you going mabie 10-15mph tops? made for some pretty crappy driving action! lol and the last mission when he said "ARE WE DONE YET, CAUSE IM READY TO GO TO FRECKLE BITC***" was sooo stubid and funny all at the same time.

and yes it will be better than gta4.. that game was utter crap.. san andreas was absolutely amazing,, and they follow it up with tripe. nothing to do in that game.

infact i prefer the first saints row to gta4 anyday

Tbh I even ended up playing SR1 more than GTA:SA in the end because of the activities and the general replayability

Don't get me wrong, GTA:SA was amazing - it just ran out of things to do sometimes imo.

GTA4 however was a massive let down as far as sandbox gameplay was concerned - which, to me. is one of the most important aspects of games like GTA.

I liked Saints Row and look forward to part 2. I played SR2 at PAX and it was more of the same goodness.

I can see why a person would say they like SR better than GTA. I kinda think it has more variety of things to do.

Honestly I think its going to be a much better game than GTA4.

The gameplay and multiplayer is going to put GTA4 to shame i feel.

Because its more over the top and low brow comedy.

I'll be getting it. It should be more fun than GTA 4, and it will have co-op throughout the game.

I've been excited and eager for this game to come out ever since I got 915 Gamerscore in GTA IV, and I'm hoping it'll be good. I also played the prequel at a friends house two summers ago and liked it a little bit. But lately I've been having these sudden doubts about it; not about whether it will be good ('cause that's inevitable), but whether it'll surpass GTA in quality. Although the games are both sandbox games, they're completely differnent in nature (GTA was more serious and realistic this time around, while the Saints Row series posseses a more laid-back, "fun" style). So I'm just not sure it'll live up to my expectations... although I'm definitely excited about it, and I'm definitely getting it.

I got siants row just to see what the fuss was about.I dont think it was as good as gta but from what i have read and veiwed about saints 2 i wanna think they were just testing the waters with the first one,so i think its gonna give gta a run for the money.VIRGIN_ISLANDER

Well, you compare 2 entirely different types of games. Saints Row was fun and entertainings. GTA tried to be realistic.
