Not really... the new 2k game looks much more promising. All EA has been doing is milking our money year after year... I hope it changes this year but I doubt that it will.
I have to disagree with the second comment. While Madden hasn't made any big advances to the game in recent years, it has always been a pretty solid game. This year they are going to improve it. All Pro looks pretty promising, but I would rather play with the current nfl teams then with fake teams with 40ish nfl legends.
We will have to see how it turns out I guess, I want to hope this will be the year that madden will change and have new and better features instead of the same old ones over and over. But i'm not sure I have the thoughts I can think it will year after year the same thing. I'll probably rent the game first to check whether or not there's a good enough difference from 07 to buy, i'm keeping my fingers crossed:?

they're all the same. sports games are the same dang thing every year. why would you buy the new ones? i just don't understand. don't flame me for this, but why would you play a video game of a sport, when you can go OUTSIDE and play the damn sport yourself.
Nope. I've bought probably 6-8 Maddens in the last 10 years and have been completely satisfied with each purchase, up until 360 Madden 07 last year. Now I don't think I'll be buying Madden at least for several years.

Yeah i cant wait, this time i might actually get it on the 360, it sucked on it before so i always got it on regular xbo. I just hope this time they let you change around the controlls cuz that killed me...
Why would anyone be excited for Madden? OOOo! Yay, I am so excited... I get to pay $60 for a roster update! No, I am not excited. When EA actually puts effort into improving their game then I might give it a shot, but I'll be happily playing 2K sports in the mean time.
Madden has been a joke the past 3-4 years. I'm excited about 2K's football game because it's going to inject much needed competition that EA needs. It's the only reason why Madden sucks. Why make it better? If you want football, you HAVE to buy Madden.
