This game intrigues me and I think that I'm going to get it as soon as it releases (no matter what the review says). It looks innovative and old school (style reminds me of SNES RPGs) all at the same time. So who's getting it?

possibly, i will deffinately be downloading the trial and checking it out at the very least
still not convinced the game will be worth 1200msp, so i will probably wait for it to go on offer in a few months time, but you never know, if it impresses enough i will pick it up at full price
I haven't heard much about except a small amount of gameplay I saw.. It looked cool, but arcade games doesn't really interest me. From Dust is the only arcade game that has actually got me intrigued.Warablo13
You see the graphics to this..It could be a 60 dollar purchase reminds me of populas from the old pc game days..From dust looks awesome..
Bastian also looks interesting as a rpg goes..Diablo style type game kind of kid like though..How can you people say 15 bucks is to much haha that cracks me up..Now if the posted and said 60 thna i can see yall point but 15 is perfect..Man how cheap can some of yall be..
The demo I saw looked like a blast. It may not be a release purchase, but Bastion is on my wish list for sure.
Most definitely. It's probably going to be the only game out of the summer lineup that I will be purchasing.
[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]Oh that one. I kind of dismissed it as the dozen or so other reviews are all extremely positive, and that guy gave Assassin's Creed 2 and Vanquish 4 or 5 (or something else ridiculously low).Yes, Destructiod's review for it came out this morning

Destructiod is one of the few sites that I trust.
There's a lot of talk about this being old school but it's not, back in the day the stories were up to snuff and the action was hack and slash, this is pretty much just like Torchlight in hacking and slashing and not much else.
Yeah $15 is a little steep for an arcade game, but I may just roll the dice and go with it.SexyPorkins
HA, remember back in the day when Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo came out for the SNES it retailed for 79.99 and now we complain about paying 15.00 for games that look & play far better that did.

Except this is the cheapest generation of games ever and we can buy games with more to them for less.
Bastion is absolutely fantastic so far (I'm about three hours in). Jim Sterling is insane as ever.DJ_Lae
Played the trial and decided I'm buying this. Wouldn't be my usual cup of tea but I love that music.
Also, I'm a heterosexual, and I don't mind saying this; that narrator has got one sexy voice.
Might that be Jim Sterling?

I remember Mario 64 being $79.99 and I put a raincheck (yeah a raincheck lol) down for Shadows of the Empire and if I remember correctly it was $89.99 or $99.99[QUOTE="balfe1990"]Nah, Jim Sterling is the Destructoid writer who scored it a 6.5 (and also gave Assassin's Creed 2 a 5/10). His taste in games is hilariously bad.Might that be Jim Sterling?

Oh that review. The only mixed review on Metacritic.
Did you watch any of the "Building the Bastion" documentaries? I knew the dev team would be small but I thought "small" would consist of more than seven people with one former Gamespot member.
Seem like a talented bunch too, I'm happy to support people like them.
This isn't like torchlight. Only real similarity is the isometric camera angle...sorry if destructoid told you otherwise. Agreed. This game is nothing like Torchlight. You are passing up on a great game...[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]P>
