I have it set on my cell phone for September 2nd and 12PM. That's when it WILL be in stores right? I might just go Target since it's closeby and has cute girls there.
I want to wait for the reviews but I'm really exicited about the game though. I've actually been thinking about canceling my Warhammer Online: Age of Recknoling Collectors Edition Pre-Order and Pre-Ordering Infinite Undiscovery. Decisions decisions. I was able to get into the Closed Beta (I believe it's the actual open beta now) and while insanely fun I think I could wait a little longer to get the game. Though it might be safer to wait to for reviews of IU. Would like ot do my part to make sure it sells well and we get more RPGs on the 360 though.

1-up preview, IGN-preview and the gametrailers.preview. go and read/watch them.
IGN actually praises the combat and everything else, the only bad thing they pointed out was the frame rate issues, other than that they seemed pretty excited about it, so I don't know where you got the idea of clunky combat, Tri-Ace never fails with combat systems.

I think the clunky combat part was from the 1-up-site. Too much action on screen, no block, just hack-and-slash and so on.
actually that was just some guy's comment. I thought it was from the preview itself. Now my hopes went up a little.
