Yeah, I plan on buying it. its been adverised a few different places as the 24th (tuesday) and 26th (thursday) I really want to wait for reviews before buying it, but I'll probably go ahead and pick it up tuesday if it does in fact come out. I was hoping for an early review somewhere, sometimes 1up.com has reviews early.

i agree with Packt. i am not getting NASCAR 08 and i do not ever watch NASCAR. i don't believe that it is a sport along with professional video game playing and i do enjoy playing video games. i don't consider anything where you use something electronic to help you during a game to be a sport.
Don't diss Nascar games, they are a friggin blast if you play with the right people. However, I will not be buying this game. There is far too much coming out later in the year. I'll most likely grab it once it hits the used rack and I have stuff to trade in.
Yeah plan on picking this up. Probably going to wait for the reivews first. Been looking for a racing game to pick up and have been waiting for the top three in my choice to come out.
