They say you can get the most out of the simulator style of the game from the wheel... does anyone plan on picking it up? It's pretty hefty at over $100.
yep considering I paid 150 for the logitech for the original xbox to use with forza..i cant use the analog stick when driving sim games, use dpad, and the enduros kill ur thumb on the dpad.
I've been looking into it. I always look at the new wheels that get released with Grand Turismo but I never buy them. I just may have to shell out that hefty price tag for this one though. It sounds like it would really improve the experience of the game.
I haven't decided yet. Between Halo 3 legendary going up to 130 bucks, and the fact that I haven't made up my mind on whether I want Guitar Hero 2 on the 360 or not, I don't know if I'll get the wheel. I bought one for GT 4, and didn't care for it, and I don't know if I want to throw down that kind of money again with the same results. I think I'll try and get to try it out before I buy it this time.Â
no, the wheel does not come with it unfortunately. It comes with a force feedback version of PGR3 though. I will be getting it, although I'm not too happy about it since theres a lot of games I am going to be buying these next couple months (let alone year) and $100 really hurts my wallet.
I already got it. True force feedback is a big step up from last gen with just rumble. Even in PGR (not a true sim) you can really feel every bump in the road. A good example is as soon as you start to over-steer the wheel loses that resistance from the road and as soon as you come out of the over-steer it tightens up again.
I have the steering wheel... Totally Awesome... But only buy the XBox wheel that has the dual forcefeedback and resistance.. That is the only one worth buying and It comes Packed with a special edition PGR3.... That Wheel is Totally like the Arcade and unlike any other wheel before... GET IT / I Got MINE!!!!! Now I need that Forza 2 :)
