Anyone got any info on how many Legendary Editions there will be??

Its gonna be like all the other "Limited Editions". They arent really limited, unless you consider not being able to get it a year after release "limited". They'll sell as many as they possibly can. If it was truely limited edition I might even consider buying Halo 3

They are going to be extremely limited.  And for those who didn't know already, (I'm sure most of you do), the price has officially jumped up to $140 for the Legendary.  ColoradoKindBud

Actually, as I already mentioned earlier, it will be very limited.  The EB I worked at, (quit recently) stopped taking preorders on it months age, (we took under 100 preorders on it), and last week we got an email from MS corporate indicating that the final price for the Legendary Edition will be $139.99, (Anyone who pre-oredered the game already will get a call from the friendly fembot telling them about the official pricing), & that due to very limited quantities, we could not take any more preorders on the Legendary Edition. 

So although your statements are pretty much correct for 99% of Limited Edition game releases, you're completely off base with this one.  If you didn't preorder it already, you'll have very little chance of getting it at all.

lol, I thought it was "nAive" to but I was wrong as well....anyways, every store around here in my town stops taking pre-orders once they reach a certain number, it really means nothing. And I think we all know what EB, Gamestop, Best Buy employees know......absolutley NOTHING. Didn't someone just post that an EB employee "confirmed" Gears 2 for the PS3......yeah, game store employees have the inside info....:P
