Anyone hate the BF3 beta?

I downloaded the beta and found it extremely disapointing. All people do is camp with a lmg or sniper and you cant hit anyone cuz as soon as you shoot ur reticle is above the target. Now I know that since it is a beta it has its problems and glitches. But these are not glitches its the actual gameplay. So within the next few days im goin to cancel my BF3 preorder and put the money towards the MW3 Hardened addition.

Yea I agree. Bad Co. 2 was the same way. Ive never really liked any shooter game by EA. So Im stickin wit COD

Love it!! Definitely day one purchase for me. BF3 or any other BF game is really not meant for the run and gun type player. If you are a lone wolf type, then you should stick to CoD. BF games are about playing a role and helping your team win. For me, I love the BF3 classes, guns, attachments and unlocks. I cannot wait to play the full game!!!

I didn't exactly hate it but I didn't like it too much. I downloaded it just to see if I'd like it and if I did I was gonna buy my first Battlefield game and I didn't really like it, I'm not good at it, it's just a little too team dependent.gamerfreak1991

nope. I have played it some and I like it so far. the map is only so so, but its a BETA, it isnt supposed to be perfect. as I play the beta more I like it more and more.

I too didnt enjoy the beta, I thought it would be way better than it is,plus metro map they gave us is one of the worst maps in a FPS.mrsniper83

I played it for roughly 10 minutes and had to stop as my eyes were beginning to hurt from the graphics. Noticed it was difficult to see enemies and once they were spotted it was difficult to determine if they were friends or foes. Otherwise the random graphical glitches and the lack of visible tracer bullets were the only other complaints I had.Pittfan666

The graphics in this BETA are better than that of retail CoD products lol. The final game is going to look like 5x better, as well.

I wasn't trying to attach a negative connotation to what I said. Awesome

The graphics in this BETA are better than that of retail CoD products lol. The final game is going to look like 5x better, as well.

I like it. The new cover stuff and so on gives you a second chance, meaning "The one who shoots first, wins" does not apply. Then theres also surpression, which works surprisingly good, and the realism is just amazing.

I love it.

Enough with the BF:3 Beta bashing. It's a beta and I think a lot of people misunderstand what some betas exist for...if you don't like it then don't buy it when it is released.

That wizard was killed because it thought the Orc was kind, and was swiflty murdered in a cruel fashion because the wizard was naive and didn't wait til the game came out so that all of the bugs would be fixed in the battlefield 3 BETA because BETAs are expected to have bugs.

Not 2-3 weeks prior to release of the final game. Bad move on their part.

I too have my worries of BF3 since the BETA was released, but note that they will not release the game as is...They wouldn't have a BETA this late if they thought they couldn't adjust the game in time.

I realize that betas have many errors however I remember when the Bad Co. 2 beta came out. The beta for it was just as terrible as the real game.

I thought it was pretty good, aside from all the bugs. EA said that the code in the beta is from earlier, so I guess it's not representative of the final game. At least, I hope it isn't.

Has its problems, but I guess that's why it's a beta. Overall I liked it.

Glitches (specially invis one) are annoying. Map is a bit silly, not much destruction on it, very small. Don't really mind the campers (and general trouble makers to put it kindly) since they're probably just a temporary problem, gonna all go back to playing CoD eventually.

Can't wait for the full game
