Anyone here ever get tired of shooting things?

I don't know whats up with me. I just suddenly got this urge to not play any game with guns and shooting. Now I just find myself not playing a game at all just watching Netflix :| Anyone got this?

As long as they make it interesting, I'll never tire of it

Yeah, I am kinda bored of it.

That is why I find myself player Halo Wars or on Netflix, like you. Not that shooting stuff is boring, just seems that all my shooters need more then 3 people or else you're screwed. (Borderlands, BFBC2, MNC).

I love RDR, one month til Reach, and can't wait for Gears3... there's only one other genre I love more than shooters and FPS and that's 2D fighters/sidescrollers...

I find it funny that you're tired of shooting things yet your icon is RDR, weird.

I get that like once a year or so, I just stop playing completely for a few weeks, then I get back into it again

That's happening to me right now. I'm playing a lot of RPGs instead.

Occasionally, though fortunately I have many games that don't involve shooting. And if your bored of games in general, just don't play for a while. Life has plenty more to offer and games will always be there when you want to play again.

Yeah I do sometimes, that is when I play Guitar Hero, AC2, Last FM,or Netflix.

It can get old after a while which is why I like to mix things up with Tiger Woods PGA 11, and other sports titles. RPGs may be a good alternative, but I find it hard to get into them.

Nope I shoot stuff in video games, then I go shoot stuff in real life.

Maybe you should get some games that don't involve shooting,like batman AA, or prototype.

Yes, I get bored from them sometimes. I just play other genres in the meantime (Mostly platformers), then I might find myself going back to play a shooter again

I will always like shooting games.

uh it happens to me sometimes,which is why i have variety in my game library,if i get tired of shooting ill play a sports game or a racing game

I don't know why, but every year in the month of August I go through a dryspell with gaming. I think it's the heat. I just can't sit and put any time in to my games. It's not just shooters though, it's pretty much all gaming. Eventually, near the end of August, my "thirst" for gaming comes back and I spend the next 11 months tied to my controller. I really hate this month, can't wait for the winter rain to come back.

I do at times. When this happens, I quickly boot up Dragon Age. I swear that game is more addictive than most shooters. Or any game for the matter.

I had a 2 day code for live around that day which lets me watch netflix. Also its true that playing shooters alone is pretty tame, I find myself playing MW2 now only when some friends invite me. Shooters are always fun with friends :) Summer break seems sooo long...
