I am thinking about getting my xbox chipped so I can get burned games for $15 bucks from my moms friend from work. You guys think, if you have chips in your xboxs, that it'll be worth it?

If you do that not only is it illegal but you will no longer be able to play on Xbox Live or else you risk having your Xbox 360 bricked by microsoft.

Just because you had your 360 fixed doesn't mean it's impervious to getting another red ring of death. Go ahead and mod it if you want, but then your warranty will be void and any future crashes won't be covered.

Look, I know it is hard sometimes to get all the games we want, because we not always have the money for it, e.g. the following months the xbox will recieve a lot of incredible games, so you might want to get all of them for the price of one and a half... but you know what?? it is not worthy, forget if it is illegal or not, what I mean is that it is not worthy to get a really awfull reputation as a gamer because you were banned for life, and you won't be able to play on live anymore, which is the best feature of the 360.

Of course you might say that you just can buy another 360 and start playing on live again, but instead of wasting money in another console, get the games you really want. it is better to have only a couple of original games, than a bunch of backups that you won't even play them all til the end.

Don't do it, save some money and eventually you'll get the games you want, and you'll feel great about it, the games won't dissapear, I am sure that no matter how long it takes you to get them there will be always a copy available.

See Ya.!!!

If you mod your 360, It gets banned in about 4 seconds when you go on live. Its your call man.
