everyones talking about it, but im thinking "another f'n WW2 game". unless theres something total cool in it, im not buying it. why cant they just keep making current ones like 4 where its like current times. pisses me off, we have what 20+ WW2 games, and every time its just "hey lets think of a new way to have the d-day invasion" no, f that f ww2 games. Activision, or whoever, make more like CoD4!!
I may when it gets real, real cheap. Sure it's the Japanese campaign but it looks essentially the same. I wanted to see some jungle fights and boat hopping between small islands in the pacific. I've watched many gameplay videos, though I could have missed something.
I already purchased Brothers in Arms Hells Highway and thats probably gonna be my last WW2 game.....and a fantastic one at that, but no I wont be buying Cod5, especially since IW has nothing to do with it.
I wont be getting it, maybe a rental. But without Infinity Ward COD gets butchered. XBD247
i totally agree cod3 sucked and all my friends said it was fun even tho it was like a **** version of cod2 cod2 was awesome and infinity ward is making cod6 next fall i think itll be modern idk but they said the multiplayer will be better itll have the same idea but theyll add things to it lets hope they take off martydom!!!!! :)
I'm not getting it. I never got CoD3 either. I think this new one will be better than CoD3 but there's loads of other ganes coming out I'd rather get. I'm not a huge CoD fan anyway. I sold CoD4 after playing through the campaign once. I've never really liked CoD online.
I'm getting it. I got Rainbow Six Vegas 1&2 and GRAW1&2 so I have enough (and much better imo) modern shooters. WaW looks fantastic to me and since im a WW2 buff I'm totally digging the Pacific setting.
Eventually, yeah. But not when it's new, as your title suggests. As in I might get it when it's the "old" CoD.

no for me is gears of war 2 and fallout 3 and maybe far cry 2
Call of Duty: Vietnam, now that's a game I woulda been pumped up for, but i'm sick of WW games. I will play it, but not as hardcore as I played CoD4, besides I will be deep in Fallout 3 for a good long while.
Im thinking about getting it, I think it will be a refeshing take on WWII for all the brilliant folks saying its just more D-Day...Its set on the other side of the world from all those games. As far as I know there are all of 3 WWII games that use the Japanese. I dont know that this is going to be as good as CoD4 but hell it still looks like a fun play.
No, at least not for a few months if I do. Games cost too much to get another one ontop of Saints Row2, Farcry2, Fable2, and Fallout3. Plus, all those will keep me busy since they are coming out near the same time. I'll wait for the reviews as well
Yeah not getting it. I'm not going to say I hate Treyarch or anything but the last game I bought of theirs COD2: Big Red One on the PS2 wasn't that great. I was expecting something more like COD2 on the 360 since I didn't have one at the time and it didn't come close to the previews I've seen on TV and the internet.
I will not be purchasing it, no need for another generic WWII shooter when so many other games are releasing this fall. I mean, seriously, what's so innovative about it? Flamethrowers? Destructible Cover?
I will wait until COD gets back into the loving hands of IW.
