Just wondering if there are any 360 owners that bought the console when it released, and has not had to replace or repair their machine yet?

360s, like all other products, have planned obsolesence built into them. So naturally, they'll fail after a certain time. At launch, Microsoft had yet to work out all the bugs and technical issues wih the 360 hence the high failure rate. With later consoles they're getting better though and the 3 year warranty against the most common problems helps.
My first 360 was manufactured in 2007, then I bought another one this past June that was manufactured April 13, 2010. I've had absolutely no problems.
my launch nov 2005 20gb 360 is still kickin. i used it for around 2000hrs, but i gave it 2 my step son for his bedroom. i was a huge xbox&360 supporter for 7 years. now i switched to the darkside(ps3) i only play cod2 on the 360 anymore whic is still my fav cod.
i bought an xbox back in 2006 and have had two RROD and sent them back getting a new console each time, or so they say anyways.
I have a launch Xbox 360. Works fine except for some games I need to install them in order for it not to freeze. Will be getting a Xbox 360 S in the near future though. I generally end up playing PS3 or PC mostly for now because I don't want my 360 to break until I get a new one.
traded in my 360 for the slim last month (or 2 months ago). i think ill be fine :P GS had a great trade-in deal regarding for the slim.. too tempted to pass it up
I own one:) If you take care of your 360 (clean it, don't over use it, and be careful when handling)it will be fine.
