Ive heard lots of people posting topics about magazines and game sites talking trash somewhat about AC. They talk about how it could be repetitive, how there is no jump button (the character jumps off ledges automatically), and some other glitches and bugs. I really have high hopes for this game, and the hype for me is huge, but it worries me that EGM and some others would talk bad about this game, and I dont want to waste my money, as its in short supply right now for me. Does anyone else feel the least bit worried about AC?hillelslovak
Well the game isnt out yet so they can fine tune it in a flash if necessary with glitches and bugs, and as for the no jump button, thats better IMO, because that way you can't press to jump early and that way you never miss your ledge unless you run at it funny.
Im gonna get Mass Effect for sure, but I live in a town where Walmart is the only place that sells new games, and they either get the game day 1, or get it after like 2-3 weeks, so I wanna get it day 1, but Im just worried about some of the EGM complaints and so forth. MAybe its just game industry snobbery on their part, nitpicking and such.hillelslovakyah I read the article your probally talking about. honostly, the controls sound to be the worst part of it. I don't think I'll be picking this up. probally a solid rental though...
Im getting it no matter what.jchaff
yeah, seriously the game looks freaking amazing. I don't care if it is repetitive or not I am very stoked for this game.
I gotta say Im a bit worried myself.
I havent necessarilly hyped the game, but its looked really good.
I always loved Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and the development team behind it is making AC.
I think it will be GOOD no matter what, it is not going to get bad reviews, I can tell already. It may not be universally acclaimed though, if its repeatitive it will get knocked.
I will wait for reviews, as always, if they're good, I'll buy it, if they're middling, I'll rent.
Who cares what people say - as long as you like it, each to their own. Don't rely on reviews. They only give you a fair idea what to expect.
If you enjoy the game thats what matters.
Anyway i think this game will rock and how can assassinating people be repetitive? Im sure there are a variety of ways to take down your enemies like in Hitman. I hope you get that option like in Hitman.
