Not at the moment, no. Although if I look closely Forza 6 does look slightly better upscalled to 4K

So far consoles don´t have 4k output for games, or games aren´t in 4K output, X1 S has a 4K BluRay PLAYER.

If you want the absolute best picture quality, then yes (4k, HDR etc). But is it worth the extra $$$? Not at this stage I don't think... and that's coming from someone who has a 4k TV.

@xunorthodox: If you can find a deal, buy the TV. I found a Vizio 55" 4K for $900 a few months back and jumped on it. I'm all ready for 4k to become a thing now and I am getting a 1TB X1S on Tuesday. Want to see the Netflix streaming.

No, definitely not at this moment. The PS4 and Xbox One wouldn't be able to take advantage of it. The Xbox One S may be a different case though. I'd wait for the Xbox Scorpio and Neo before getting into 4k tvs. Still, you can find really cheap gaming televisions and great deals all the time. The article I linked to is where I bought my latest TV. Well worth it! I'm eyeing a 4k tv myself but I'll wait a bit to see if the new consoles will take advantage of it.

An OLED TV would be more beneficial than a 4K TV.

@xunorthodox:

They will be for ps4 Neo and Scorpio. But they won't do much for the regular consoles.

I'm not sure tbh.

my buddy has a 4k TV and plays PS4 on it constantly, but i noticed it feels like it stutters more or the framerate is lower as opposed to my TV at home.

we tried his xbone and I played halo 2 and i noticed the same thing, the game feels choppy at 4k.

Maybe it's the TV? can anyone explain that?
