I just feel burnt out with the franchise but thats my opinion. How do you feel?

I've played since WaW. When I bought Ghost it just hit me that I can't keep doing this. Same stuff over and over with no new content. I played Ghost 10 hours tops and didn't touch it again. Since i've had a break for COD im VERY excited to be back for advanced warfare.
I'm sure to some but not me. I've been playing them since the first Modern Warfare and I still love them. Really looking forward to Advanced Warfare.
I´ve been playing COD since COD, yup, back then during the age of the dinosaurs and when COD and MOH were having a bitter fight to death. Even though I will not purchase COD AW for Xbox ( it´s for the other system, all my COD collection is in the other system ) there are games still to come for my Xbox system, all my Batman collection is in Xbox so the new Batman is for this system.
If you have played every Call of Duty games released since the original Call of Duty until this years Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. Then yes. The Call of Duty series would considered ÖLD. 2003-2014 is eons in the Videogame universe.
So take a break and play some other videogames.
Yes, played since cod2 and made it to mw2 or black ops which ever of the two was the last and then i just figured i could replay the last call of duty i bought and it would be like playing the new one on launch day.
The first and only cod I've owned is ghost, I only got it for the lack of next gen games last year. I've never been big into multi player games. I love single player story driven games, but I see myself getting the next cod just for the single player mode.
So you got the worst COD since the series was released.........LOL
Not into them, but I did play MW3 recently, and I'm convinced that game had a sense of self-parody in it, which was kind of entertaining.
Yes and no, I started to feel a bit bored of the series post Modern Warfare 2. I enjoyed what I played of Black Op's but I had put more time into World at War and Modern Warfare 2. With Ghosts nobody I know has it on Xbox so I stopped playing that due to a lack of interest from friends. However I am very interested in the new game Advanced Warfare, and a friend is buying it this time as well so chances are I may get back into Call of Duty.
The new game seems to be adding to the gameplay mechanics and making other changes. Also, having a big name like Kevin Spacey attached to the story has got my interest (I enjoy films as well in terms of hobbies, so adding Mr Spacey is a good call in my view). If this game turns out to be poor then I think I may skip the series unless there is a big vocal support for a later release. I have faith that this game series can be turned around and switching to a 3 year development cycle between 3 studios is potentially a great idea if it means extra time to work on new ideas and make each studios game feel unique. Treyarch seem to get held back copying what Infinity Ward were doing with their games as Activision essentially made them a B team in my opinion, but with Infinity Ward no longer being the main team, I feel the equality between the studios could lead to better ideas and more unique games from each studio rather than just the same game with a different map selection.
@cdragon_88: no one knew it was going to be the worst cod. The dog and fish AI had me sold, plus having a brand new xb1 and I needed something to play.
I did and posted before it released. I follow developers though and that gives a big head up on quality.
I thought it got old. They never add anything new. I liked the idea of having a specialist and their own abilities in COD3, but it was practically just another weapon.
Call of Duty series has had yearly installments starting in 2003,and continuing in 2004,2005,2006, 2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014,2015,2016 so while that it does seem like the series should have died out by now. The call of duty franchise continues. I have only played a handful of Call of duty games. So I don't mind a go at call of duty once and a while.
There are some people who have played all of the CoD games. Multiplayer seems to have been the draw, So as long as Call of Duty series sells keep making them.
So yes the series is old. But there are people who like this series. I have only played 5 of these games, The people who have played them all still enjoy it. So to them I guess Cod is not old. But how long can Cod last?
Getting old???Call of Duty is gotten as old as fly shit.Unless they completely revamp that PoS series,I'll Never put another dime towards Call of Duty anything again.
