Are Fallout 3 Side Quest Worth Doing?

I was just wondering because I did all the quests in Oblivion and the side quests were more fun than the main, but in Borderlands the only fun ones were the main quests.

you'll get much more out of doing the side quests than the main, i suggest you do all the quests you can after you exit the vault.

Definitely worth it. The main quest is pretty short. But if you care about the game world, and the people, and getting cool armor and weapons; you'll do the side quests. They're all really good, with only a few being somewhat boring or unrewarding.

definitely do side quests...they are way better than the ones in borderlands (actually the side quests in fallout 3 are better than the main ones in borderlands too in my opinion)

They're what makes the game.

The side quests are Fallout 3 man, they're not pointless.
