Elder Scrolls isn't an online game so it doesn't realy matter if anyone is still playing it. But to answer that question, yes people are still playing it, a new expansion was just released on live.

The game is HUGE, you can play it for over 100hrs and still not complete it!

I do. It's huge. I have put ~300 hours into my main character (done virtually every quest except some of the Master Trainer stuff) and ~30 hours into a second character (just starting out). I have all the downloadable content, but I would only recommend the extras to you once you've tried the main game. No reason to throw money after an experience you don't like.

Seriously, just buy it.  There are about infinite things to discover, about 100+ hours of quests, its insanely fun. Seriously, just buy it.

Still Playing... around 200 hours and I have barely even touched the "main" quest. One of the best game I've ever played.

The game is only long if ppl do all the quests, ppl that only do the main quests (like me) can finish game in 20 hours +/-

ThisgameisjustlikeaGTAgame, evenafter finishingthe story we can still play it and do other secondary quests.

THISGAMESOULDBEINEVERYHOUSETHAT HAS PC, X360, PS3.

ive played this 100 hours plus and ii havent ven done the main quest. Its an amazing game but lacks some excitement at times. It more of the "Exploring" rpg thats better fro hardcore players. i Would reccomend it but i barely play it anhmore (because of shadowrun!)

Like somebody else said, the game isn't online so it doesn't matter if people are still playing it or not. What does matter is the fact that the game is amazing! I just had my first playthrough and I loved it. I was seriously addicted to it. Ive got all the achievements (well all I can get without the expansion) but I will go back and play it more because there are still many things that I can do that I just haven't got round to yet. Its a brilliant game that most people will love, I loved it and I am not a big fan of RPGs. :)

lol i agree but the only thing with gta secondary quests is they arent really fun i couldnt care less about wasting time to get 40 fares in a taxi or delivering people to a hospital,

but in oblivion its secondary quests are much much better who in the world wouldnt want to join the theives or fighting guilds etc. GET THIS GAME!! lol

Even though it's not online, this game definitely has the best longevity out of any game on 360 and with the new Shivering Isles expansion, I'm sure I'll still be playing this for at least another 3-4 months.

I was wondering about getting this game too about a week ago. Than finally two days ago I bought it, and I am just amazed at the game. The visuals are amazing and breathtaking, I take breaks and just admire the scenery. The story is interesting and I like it. Also exploring the dungeons are exciting! I will be playing this game for a long long time. I advise you to pick this game up, it's worth it.

I was skeptical about this game at first because I'm not a huge RPG fan. But I went out and bought a few days ago because I heard nothing but good things about this game and it truly is an epic experience. This game will no doubt last a long time.

I completed the game a few months ago (not 100% complete of course, but got all the achievements and expansion). I play it every now and then, but mainly to show my buddies my uber character.

Of course I'm still playing Elder Scrolls. More Morrowind than Oblivion though, and Morrowind has been out for several years longer.

The game is phenomenal. My first 360 game, bought it April of '06, last time I played it was probably April of '07. Fantastic game and I've been meaning to play it again, but Forza 2 is like crack to me.

Oh and the games amazing the reason I havent got far for the 360 version is because I had the PC version before it and pretty much did everthing but braught the 360 version for the eye candy ( my PC is not so great)

Love the game, but if it gets boring doing favours and travellin, you can easily murder everyone in a town.

I played over 120 hours and never even finished the main quest. The side quests were just too fun. I think I completed almost 100 minor quests, plus the Fighter's Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Arena, etc. Unfortunately, after a while, the dungeon crawling does become a bit repetitive, and it can even start to wear on your nerves. I swear I started to feel claustrophobic in some of those ruins.
