Are the 120gb hard drives safe to buy on ebay?

The 120gb hard drives sell for around $70 on ebay. Are those safe to use on 360? Are they the real hard drives or are they modded hard drives?

Depends on what the description is. I got mine off Amazon.com and it's great. Most are black ones off of Elites so if there is a generic picture, it's probably gonna be that and not a grey one. You aren't gonna get a modded one - most are hard drives from RROD'd consoles.
