wait for fall 360s...or get a 360 now with the one year warrenty from best buy and just return it later for a falcon.GlassDominion
Plus all 360's have a three year warranty with Microsoft.
Bestbuy warrenties on the 360 are over priced imo, especially when Microsoft gives you three year warrenty now. If it breaks, they pay for shipping, and it takes no more than a weak to ship it fix it and get it back to you so...bleh I'd suggest saving your money
I want to get a 360, but I dont want to fool with it if its gonna die constantly. Have the improved it at all? I know the 65nm cpu is out, but has it improved anything? Is it still loud and hot? thanks. markthebum
Correction, the 65 nm cpu's are not out yet. The only way to get them is via the Falcon and the Falcon isn't out yet. And when the Falcon comes out, MS will not label them differently, meaning, even when you buy one, you won't know if it will have the 65nm cpu or not. In order to be sure that you're getting a 65nm chipset, you'll probably have to wait until January or February when the older models will probably be all sold out. Yeah, you'll have to wait...if you have the patience.

LOL a week try 6 weeks I've been waiting 2 months but I'm getting mine back this monday and to anybody who says the don't have problems both my 360's ran flawless intill they died all of a sudden so don't bank on them not breaking.Bestbuy warrenties on the 360 are over priced imo, especially when Microsoft gives you three year warrenty now. [QUOTE="Radiozo"]The problems with 360 are exagerated.-MlKE-Yeah, I'm sure those thousands of people who had to send their systems in for repairs were "exaggerating."
No of course not but some people are trying to make it look like there is something wrong with every single 360 and that they break within months. They do not break for most people at all. The failure rate is somewhere around 25-30% and you get a 3 year warranty for free.
If your ps3 or wii dies after a year you get nothing.
Which one would you say is safer to buy?

MS them selves said the hardware flaw is in every 360 and no I will not get you a link all these thing are common knowledge.Yeah, I'm sure those thousands of people who had to send their systems in for repairs were "exaggerating."[QUOTE="-MlKE-"][QUOTE="Radiozo"]The problems with 360 are exagerated.Radiozo

all 360s being purchased or produced right now are defective. not all of them will die, but they all have the same issue that can lead to the RRoD (gpu is in a bad spot, right under the dvd drive). thats why MS extended the warrenty.
thankfully they are finally starting to solve the issue...but they still arnt shipping the units to the consumer yet.
well considering the ps3 defect rate is below 1% i doubt there are many ps3 owners who play for a year only to discover their ps3 died. i dont even know what the warrenty period for the ps3 is anymore, 3months?
Well dont buy one then. Stick with the other 2 consoles which doesnt have as good games.
For me its an easy choice and Ive yet to have any problems at all and Ive been playing my 360 for 20 months now.

congrats on the long lived 360. MS doesnt believe that the disk drive will scratch disks even if you dont touch it, and well mine was eating games...so i had to dish out another 300 for a new 360. im very annoyed with MS, but with halo, BD, eternal sonata, lost odyssey, etc. i couldnt just not get another one now what i was in. but im getting most of the multi consoles for the ps3.
You know when yours breaks your going to be singing a different tune and chances are it will break MS stated their is a fatal flaw in all of them so just cause yours is good doesn't change the fact that two of mine have died and others who are telling the truth have had worst so enjoy it and appreciate it cause bro it blows to wait 2 months for your 360 to come back that's a fact.Well dont buy one then.
