I'm thinking of buying both Bad Company 1 and 2. I just want to know if they're as good as they reviews say. Also, how long are the single player campaigns in both games?

I did not play Bad Company 1, but i did complete everything in bad company 2. The single player is a blast in 2. Its very funny and the characters feel original and have their own personalities. The story is very well done. Its kinda short though. You'll blow through the story in 5-10 hours.

Multiplayer is fun as well. Its not hard to get into and the maps are big giving you room to move without getting blown to pieces in a few seconds like other fps.

You can get both on amazon.com for about $40.

i loved both bad companys but it depends on your standpoint on what you want in a game ....firstEA did a terrible job of trying to make bc1 an online shooter seeing it freezes every 5 seconds....but thank god they saw its potential and how cool it was in theory and brought back some goods to the table with bc2 which is basicly flawless as far as connection ....now the campaigns...if your looking for some good intense blow **** up and feel good about it ole fun thatll keep you entertained for a while ....get them both ...but if your looking for the better storyline bc2 is the way to go ...both are great games just dont expect the call of duty "laser tag" of sorts ...it takes a minute for the bullet to get places...youll understand :P hope it helped

single player is best in bc2... but the multiplayer on bc1 is pretty sweet still... but i havent played it in a while and i doubt that there is many people playing it still.

I honestly think BC2 is over rated. Granted I was expecting a game similar to the older battlefield games. Still I can have fun playing it now and then.

Bad Company 2 is fantastic and is one of my favorite games of 2010. Bad Company 1 was good back a year or two ago but now that the second one came out, it's nowhere near as good.

I bought the first one used and never finished the campaign. Ended up trading it back in. I'm considering buying part 2, which is on sale new for $40 now, but there are several other games I'm considering too. (Namely, the Metroid Prime Trilogy, MAG, and Alpha Protocol.)

Yeah, BC2 has pretty good graphics. On topic, both BC1 and BC2 are great games.

hell yeah, and they finally fixed the lag for multiplayer in BC2, so its awesome again (but tweaked it a bit so now noobs are actually kind of good, which is dumb IMHO). both campaigns are about 6-8 hours.

I don't recommend the first. It takes way too many bullets to maim someone in multiplayer. I find the amount it takes to kill someone BC2 to be just about right. Can't comment on the single player portion of the first game as I bought it solely for multiplayer.

I've played the online portion of the second game for nearly 13 days. Love the rather large Conquest maps and its customization features. Rush mode (which is the other main multiplayer mode) is cheapened by nub tactics, presently. Many choose to simply C4 the MCOMs to oblivion, racking up insane amount of points by a single press of a button.

Bad Company 1 has a very good SP (enjoyed it more than 2), has very memorable characters, fun plot, interesting concepts and is pretty open-ended as far as approaching a mission. The SP for me (not going back for the harder difficulty achievements and collectibles), took around 8-10 hours The online's a blast and there's still people playing it. It provides a very unique experience with it's destruction, huge maps, and vehicles. Bad Company 2 also has a good SP (not as good as 1 imo and more linear), has better destruction, more weapons, more places, and tighter, CoD style moments. It's not that long and ignoring collectibles, took me around 6-8 hours to finish. The online's been improved over BC1 in every way. Has complete destruction, more vehicles, more teamplay and working together. Both tha games are a blast and I would recommend both of them.

I havent played Bad Company 1, but I did enjoy the demo. As for Bad Company 2, it's Singleplayer is way too short. The good thing is the Multiplayer really makes up for the lack of SP. I'd give Bad Company 1 demo a try if you're still unsure.

" Well, duh, might as, might as well ask why is a tree good? Why is the sunset good? Why are boobs good?" - Joe Dirt

I instantly thought of this movie when I seen question & yes the games are awesome.

Not writing a paragraph and getting down to the nitty gritty, the answer is yes. Very good games and if you are a shooter fan in the least bit you should have a lot a fun.
